I suffer from Afib and have had six procedures in the last year from blood clots in my legs. I was on warfarin for awhile and during one leg surgery my INR was 4.8 and I still developed more clots in both legs. I've had six procedures to clean out these clots. I was also on metoprolol and diltazem both for Afib and finally one cardiologist took me off the metoprolol and it seemed to have stopped the clots. I have grafts, stents in both legs and an artificial artery in my right leg. I've had hemorrhoids for awhile but never bled for over a day or two when constipated. I was also on Plavix but have stopped due to hemorrhoidal bleeding. My doctor didn't object. After drinking alcohol about one week ago I started bleeding from the rectum. Hi. I've been on 50mg tenopress a day and I'm suddenly suffering from very bad external hemorrhoids. Could it be aggravated by the use of tenopress? ## That's not a typical side effect of this medication, the NIH lists them as usually including symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Are you on any other medications? Have you been dealing with a lot of constipation, recently? ## I was also taking Doxycycline (an antibiotic). I also suffer from hypertension. Suffering with a lot of symptoms caused by the diagnosis of sickle cell. Especially pain in my legs and an irregular heartbeat. Not sure if I should continue with tenopress.

I suffered from piles for 12 years. Over this time they gradually got worse and worse. It would take me longer to push them back in after going to the toilet than it took to take a poo. Then they got serious with a thrombosis and prolapse. My rectal mucosa was also ejected and a lump the size of a medium-sized orange was hanging out of my rectum. I was admitted after collapsing in the ER with the pain. I'm trying to help a friend in a third world country who has limited access to medical facilities. He is a 30 year old male with history of internal prolapsed hemorrhoids that he has had to put up with for years because he couldn't afford to pay for treatment. Recently he accessed a temporarily available visiting surgical service and had one large prolapsed hemorrhoid removed by ligation and a few weeks later several smaller ones removed by "scraping out" the rectum (as the surgeon put it). Are we speaking about the same product here? If you're treating hemorrhoids, perhaps something like Preparation-H may be better suited for your needs? And if you're trying to alleviate joint pain, I don't think Anaconda cream is within the realm of prospective treatment options. Depending on the severity of joint pain, anything from NSAID's to narcotic pain relievers or muscle relaxers seem to be more in line with that type of ailment, at least in my opinion.
