Have Hpyloric and being treatedwith Flagyl 3xDay and clindamycin--not clarithromycin Bid as well as the PP pill. On my 11th day out of 14 and stay nauseated. Tried separating the doses and not all together but within an hr of each other. Does this sound like a plan! Thank you. Is Clindamycin just as good? Thank you ## Clindamycin is not the preferred antibiotic that's approved to eradicate H. Pylori. Was there some reason you were prescribe it, rather than another one? TO TREAT DIGESTION PROBLEMS ## Are you currently taking any medications? I've been tested for it recently because my doctor thinks that the symptoms I've been dealing with on an intermittent basis might by H Pylori. For example ... bloating, nausea, can't eat certain heavy foods, general discomfort, and fatigue after a stomach attack. Actually, 2 of my uncles dealt with this recently and I was told that their doctor prescribed antibiotics and within a couple of weeks they were fine. I should know my test results by Wednesday and hopefully it's something simple! Digestive issues are such an inconvenience!

Im 33 years old. After endoscopy H Pylori detected, Doctor Prescribe me to take SOMPRAZ HP for 15 days. But after 6 days im suffering from loose motion what should i do? Today is day 8 of this course please help me. im taking homemade saline water and raw banana curry.

I have gastritis but no h pylori. Is it okay to use Pylori kit even if you do not have H Pylori? ## It is really not recommended, because the H. Pylori kits contains antibiotics to help get rid of the H. Pylori bacteria, so if you use them, without having an active infection, then you run the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria and this could put you at serious risk in the future. It is usually best to treat gastritis with medications that specifically help to reduce the amount of acid in the stomach and allow it to heal. I was DX with H.pylori and given 4 meds. Doxycycline 2x a day. Omeprazole 2x a day. Metronidazole 4x a day. And pepto bismo tablets 4x a day. I don't have a clue how to take them . Most people get a kit. And I imagine that it's taken at all together . Please help! ## Hello, Racheal! How are you? I was recently diagnosed with duodenal ulcers with biopsy samples revealing the existence of Pylori. The doctor prescribed hp kit for 7 days. Then after that esomeprazole tablets 40mg BD for 3 weeks will this work to cure me? Secondly I was also swallowing libraxin but the side effects attributed to muscle weakness and arthritis like feeling on my shoulder joints it was so painful I work up at night so I decided to stop libraxin and continue with the other medications. Two month ago, I faced the problem of stomach pain and vomiting .the vomiting used to occur regularly for 2-3 hours (15-20 times ) and there was strong pain in stomach. I was diagnosed with small osophageal, granuloma, mild antral gastritis. I was given H.pylori kit medicines for 10 days. heartburn and h pylori ## What kind of symptoms have you been getting lately? I recently had blood work done because my doctor thinks I might have it as well. Supposed to get the results by Wednesday. For me, it's been uncomfortable to eat too much. So if I get full while eating, instead of just feeling full I feel nauseous and bloated. Can't have any caffeine cause it aggravates it too much. Heavy foods seem to do the same thing. But it's weird ... I have been dealing with this for about 4 months, yet completely intermittent. I'm not sure of the exact medications used in the one you're talking about, but generally they contain a combination of antibiotics and acid reducers to help eradicate the bacteria and heal your gastrointestinal issues. Yes the doctor prescribede two different antibiotics for this infection is it safe to take more then 1000 a day cause their 500mg each ## Hello, Naty! How are you?
