False Positive On Drug Test For Marijuana

quit smoking pot over a month ago. tested myself last week, came up negative. tested myself again today. it came up positive. i began taking doxycycline hydrate yesterday for a sinus infection and 2 advils yesterday, one today. does doxycycline give a false positive for thc ? or is it the advil, or both ?

I tested positive for marijuana. I have been injected with steroids 3 times in the last four weeks, I am prescribed 70mg Vyvanse, and 1800 Ibuprofen daily and I have my first pee test on Tuesday with my PO and I am very scared that it will show thc. In my opinion, your best bet would be to reference any articles of information stating that this is in fact a possibility that they should be made aware of. I took a drug test for employment & an oral swab was used. I do not use any illicit drugs but I was contacted & told my test came up positive for THC. I do know some people who use marijuana but I understand that it is very rare for a test to come up positive for second-hand smoke, especially with an oral swab b/c it is hard for them to detect marijuana to begin with. I am having the same problem. My drug of choice was synthetic marijuana but I keep getting false-positives for suboxone. I have never in my life taken heroin or suboxone. I was kicked out of substance abuse treatment because of it. This is f***ed up. Example: On 7/10/2015, I gave a urine sample to my new treatment center as well a urine sample to my primary doctor. my friend just had to be drug tested for court & the urine test came back positive for THC. he does NOT smoke, so it HAS to be a false reading. the only medications he takes are suboxone (prescribed by his doctor) & miralax .. could either of these medications cause a false positive for THC in a urine test? ## If he tested positive for THC there's something he's not telling you. I am on a pre-trial contract and get drug tested every week.They do an eight panel that tests for Marijuana, Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Benzodiazephines, Morphine / Opiates, Phencyclidine, and Barbiturates. They also do a separate test for Buprenorphine. I passed the eight panel test, but a faint line showed up on the Buprenorphine test. I don't take any other medications nor do I use Suboxone. Failed disa urine screen for marijuana, went threw the substance abuse program, waited 40 days and took another urine screen to return to work, but still have marijuana in my test results. So my question is will they make me take the substance abuse program again because it takes so long for marijuana to clear my system? ## My boyfriend took a hair follicle test with disa and failed but he does not smoke marijuana. I just took a Hair follicle Drug. the test came back positive for marijuana, but it was the absolute lowest amount that can be detected. I have not smoked anything in the 90 day window that the test was supposed to check for..i have looked up to see what i can find about false positives and to be honest i used to smoke all day everyday. Should I request another test? I just started taking Lithium a few weeks ago and i recently failed my drug test for THC? I havent used Marijuana in over a year. I'm also taking Wellbutrin XL daily and Remeron as needed as a sleep aide.. Can you tell me why I failed this drug screen? ## Same crap here. I am also on lithium and keep failing my UA's. I am taking Sulfamethoxazole-TMP and my doc has given me 2 urine tests to make sure no other drugs are interacting with the Sulf. I have not smoked pot in over 18 years, I live alone and I failed both times. Will the Sulfamethoxazole-TMP give a false positive for marijuana?

I have somehow tested positive for amphetamine but the only drug that I touch Is marijuana. How is this possible? It was a urine test done in a hospital. ## If u take allergy pills that sometimes shows up as a false positive for amphetamines if u haven't then I don't know how it happened that's all I know ## It should occur from just marijuana.
