False Positive Drug Test Naproxen

I take naproxen and had a drug screening today and it showed up for marijuana and I have never in my 43yrs used marijuana, so how do I prove to these people that I don't use marijuana, it's crazy, please help me or give me some advice. Thanks alot

I am having this same problem. I have just finished nursing school and had a drug test done for my first job over a week ago I got a call saying I test positive for marijuana which I have not smoked I am praying I get to test again. How did you prove that you are clean?

I drug test twice a month and haven't used marijuana and just yesterday got positive results. I take naproxen 500mg and ibuprofen 800mg three times a day so I'm in the same boat because I need to prove that I haven't smoked and my level tested at 9.3ng...

I tested positive for synthetic marijuana? I had been taking naproxen, ibuprofen and a prescribed medication meloxicam for neck and shoulder pain just days before. The drug testing place said my level was 48 nanograms? I was stunned to say the least. The doctor who prescribed the meloxicam told me to consult a lawyer. However the company I work for suspended me due to the test and refused tto allow me to retest, only to have the original sample retested at my expense for $150.00. This was the 2nd time I consented as the first sample was damaged in shipment. I have little faith they will be able to find a different result. My best advice to what I have learned over all of this is to make everyone aware of every prescription, otc, supplement you've consumed prior to any test so it is documented. Also the FDA has said that meloxicam can cause a false positive, and CVS says the same about ibuprofen. However this seem not to be proof enough for anyone but myself.
