I had a mild heart atack and I was prescribed a cocktail of drugs, which made me feel like a zombie, I was extremely tired, feeling sick, couldn't barely walk: ticagrelor 90 mg., simvastatin 40 mg., amlodipine, ramipril 2.5 mg., eleprenone(Inspra) 25 mg. I discarded the amplodipine- why the dictors prescribed it together with the ramipril, if both do the same job and both have bad side effects? I also stopped the simvastatin- so far for a week and I feel better, but another doctor now replaced with with atorvastatin 20 mg. which I will have to start taking, but this one is also known for bad side effects and I was also prescribed a beta blocker- Egiloke 25 mg (Metrprolol tartrate) as replacement of the amplodimine. I am worried about the side effects: my colesterols levels and blood...

Are there any lactose free cholesterol drugs ## It is very hard to say, since each company that makes them has their own formula of ingredients. ## calcium citrate lactose free ## I am lactose/milk and povidone intolerant. My medications all contain 1 or more of these allergens, Atenolol, Levothyroxine, HCTZ. Taking these with antihistamine (also containing lactose) still triggers migraines daily, for which I take caffeine to counteract. Is there any way I can get allergen free medications. My doctor & pharmacy don't have a clue or don't care to find the answer. I am developing arthritis and dental pain from using these meds. Please help ## I, too, am allergic to lactose (milk) and corn. I just researched and found Levothyroxin made by Sandoz that does not have these ingredi...

My brother died after taking Stivarga for one month. I want to know how many people this happened too. ## Hi Jean, Sorry to hear about what happen to your brother while taking Stivarga (regorafenib). However, it's hard to determine how many people this could've potentially happened to around the globe as a whole. According to the manufacturer's website for Stivarga, there were reportedly 275 deaths out of 505 patients taking the drug in clinical trials. The article went on to note that severe, fatal hepatotoxicity was an underlying cause of death sometimes observed during those trials. ## My husband died after taking this drug for 6 weeks :(

Need top 100 drugs used in the united States in 2015 ## A top 100 prescription list based on each medication's sales from 2015 can be viewed by visiting the link below: Top 100 Prescriptions (via Sales) I realize there are other aspects outside of sales that could potentially dictate the number of drugs that are being used in a given year - However, no one can accurately measure everything outside the point of sale behind closed doors. So hopefully this helps give a ball park estimate.

i have been diagnosed with glaucoma and have had reactions to all the drops prescribed so far. Is this common? ## I am curious as to what type of reaction you had. My mother in law had a very strange reaction or episode to some drops for glaucoma. She got extreme pain in her eyes, soreness on her lids. Extreme headache. She was in distress but as of this date, we have no answers. Stopped the drops of course, no answers as to whether this drop could have caused all this. Her vision is so blurry, which is another reaction. Dr. sending for MRI of brain. Pain is not in Occipital lobe of her head. Do not understand.. ## What drops did you try, and what type of reactions did you have? Have seen two people die of drugs in advanced stages. Lied through their teeth about the extent of their problem. Kept using until reached advance stages until they couldn't make decisions to keep them out of jail due to brain damage from drugs. If you are new to this "fantastic" feeling you get, know that you will ruin your life and die from it. You will lose everyone, everything, and end up to be the person you never thought you could be. The lowest point and it just gets lower. Am waiting and worrying about a loved one dying who has reached that stage. You will not win from using drugs. STOP NOW is the only answer. And never go back. Godspeed!

Some pharmacy will not give the watson brand soma or norco if you using insurance can something be done and do target carry name brand. ## No, you get what that pharmacy gets. You can request the Brand name drug and expect to pay up to 100 X more if that is what you are asking, yet insurance wont cover it. Also the pharmacy and the prescriber will catch on that you have vast knowledge of different brands and most likely not do business with you, or cut you off. You are playing with fire. If you have the time, open the phone book and call all the Pharmacies in a 100 mile radius and perhaps you will find the brand you seek!

Does anybody know when the 2010 top 200 drugs list will be out??? I'm trying to study for the PTCB and getting very confused over the top 200 drugs that I find on the internet and in my book, because the lists are SO DIFFERENT!!! ## I have to tell you, I searched google as well as other databases and haven't come across a list for 2010 either. There only seems to be the previous 2009 and under list available to the public. I find it interesting though how the 2008 and 2009 list were both published around May the following year on the various sites I have checked. Maybe the 2010 list is due around this time frame as well? I suppose we can only wait and find out as it is bound to come out sooner or later. I will be sure to post back if I come across anything in the meantime.

I'm 23 year old female weighing 36 kgs , height is 4" I want to gain weight I've had no health problems ## Hi amanita, If you need assistance gaining weight in a healthy way, I think (from my own experience) that your best bet would probably be to focus on eating enough nutrient dense calories to from protein, carb, and fat sources together to make more wholesome meals. But if you have a hard time consuming more calories in one sitting, you can also choose to eat smaller portions more frequently throughout the day and/or rely on high calorie shakes in between meals. I've tried various approaches myself and those are just a couple examples that worked for me in the past. However, I'd still encourage you to speak with a dietician for that one-on-one personal assistance...
