How are you? This is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of infections. But what type of doctor did you see for it? It's incorrect to assume that such a thing would have any effect on your eyesight, if it occurs again, because not all such afflictions do. Did they mention what caused it? ## Yesterday I went out of town and couldn't go to the washroom and couldn't drink water for 8 hours; and today this morning I'm experiencing a burning sensation while urinating. Has anyone experienced loss of smell and taste since getting injections? ## What did your retinal specialist say about the cause of loss of smell and taste? Were you on Lucentis or Avastin before the start of Eylea? ## I haven't been able to find any information that lists such symptoms as being known side effects of this medication, but it's very difficult to know how any drug will affect any given person that takes it. Have you contacted your doctor about it? Learn more Eylea details here. ## I have been having inj's. for amd since Oct 2010. First Lucentic for about a year, then Avastin. Terramicina - Does It Go In The Eye Or Around?
2 Replies RSS
I have pink eye. Can I use terramicina in my eye as a salve, or just around the eye? ## I think it really depends on whether or not you have the ointment, powder or the eye drops. There should be instructions on the package, no? That's just wrong if there isn't, as from what I can tell it can be used to treat pink eye. Based on information i've gathered, the application guidelines are simple. Listed below are the indications for the ointment: "Broad-spectrum antibiotic ideal for mild bacterial eye infections Easy to use - simply apply ointment directly on the affected area" I'm assuming that the eye drops are no different other than actually dropping it into your eye. Here is an information link to the powdered form of this medication as well (it states: puff pow...

Common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Can Latisse backfire?
70 Replies RSS
I used Latisse successfully for several months & loved the look. But then my lashes started to fall out, leaving me with short stubby ones less full than when I began the latisse. Does anyone know if it stops working, or the body gets resistant to it, or have any of you had the same reaction? THanks. ## Same thing happened to me - I am wondering if this is a bad batch of Latisse - how would one know until eyelashes stop growing or fall out? ## It is normal for your body to eventually get used to any type of medication you are using, even a topical one and it may stop working as well as it once did. The warnings in the product information also say that other changes in hair growth may occur and though it is rare, this could involve shorter or less lashes. Some drugs don't work at...

Dorzolamide - Timolol Opth Soln 10 ML
Post a Reply
I have been on Dorzolamide - Timolol for the past eight months , for use in one eye . This drug has reduced my eye pressure from 21 to 13 . I receive a 10 ML vial or bottle, which should last approximately 45 days . However after about 28 days the bottle is empty with proper use . What i discovered in the first four bottles is that , they were approx. 70 % full . I registered a complaint with my health insurance , which informed me to check the level of the bottle before leaving the pharmacy. When i acquired the fifth bottle , it was completely filled or 100%. I served on a Grand Jury for medicaid fraud . This is no doubt a case of fraud . A prescription bottle of Dorzolamide - Ttimolol 10 ML should be filled to the top of the bottle.

Jetrea Experience
3 Replies RSS
I am 54 years old which I am told is fairly young for this situation. I also had Lasik surgery 10 years ago and my vision was perfect for distance. I was only beginning to need reading glasses. It was very difficult to accept the changes that started occurring in my right eye especially since my vision was so great beforehand. I had surgery (vitrectomy) for a macular hole in Jan of 2014. The surgery was successful but I did develop a cataract very quickly which almost always happens after this surgery. Much to my dismay, the same situation presented in my left eye in Dec of 2014. I knew immediately what was going on so I made an appointment with my surgeon. We decided to try the injection this time since my hole was very small and he figured it was a 50/50 chance in my case. I had the i...

eye drops in ear,is this harmful?

I'm accidentally put tetrahydrozoline in my ear & now I'm experiencing some nausea. Should I be concerned and are there any other symptoms I should be on the look out for? Also, my intention was to use ear wax removing solution, is it okay to attempt to loosen the cerumen in my ear or should I wait awhile? ## Hello, Jkidd! How are you? No, generally eye drops in your ear aren't a concern, though you may experience the nausea, as you have, due to the fluid in the ear. You should also make sure that it drains out, before trying to use anything else. It's always best to double check with your doctor, but I doubt you have anything to worry about here. If you put ear drops in your eye, that would be a concern, because ear drops aren't sterile, like eye drops. Is there...

would like to know the side affects with this drug ## This is commonly prescribed in the U.S. under the trade name Cosopt. It s used to reduce the pressure in the eye to normal levels and treat Glaucoma. Side effects may include: swelling or redness of the eyelids, light sensitivity and blurred vision. Do you have any other questions? ## My mother has had glaucoma for years. Her eyes sting with the use of Dorzol so the Dr. is having her try Istalol. I've been on Durezol for 1-1/2 years for Iritis. I've had 6 eye surgeries in 2 years-2 macular holes, 2 cataracts, 2 eye shunts because of high IOP. I've gained 17 lbs. When you drop Durezol then pinch your eyes, you still get Durezol running into your tear ducts which then goes right into your system. Can't be helped. But also because Durezol makes your vision blurry and your eyes light sensitive, I've not been as physically active as I was prior to my eye surgeries and I went into a little depression. I think that is reason for my weight gain and maybe others.

Success with Jetrea? Side effects subside?

I am scheduled for Jetrea 4/30. I am wondering if your side effects have subsided and would you do it again. ## Hoping to hear from people who used Jetrea to close Macular Hole. I am wondering about lasting side effects. Do you think it was worth it? Did you need to go on to have to have surgery? Any thoughts, opinions and insights on Jetrea are appreciated. ## I have had a successful experience with Jetrea. I have just posted a brief description of my post injection recovery here and have kept a blog. I hope my comments will be of help to you. ## Thank you so much for sharing your story. Prefrin Eye Drops For Red Eyes

Ophthalmologist prescribed PREFRIN eye drops for red eyes nearly 20 years ago. Is it available now? My problem is allergic in nature (itchy eyes = angular conjunctivitis mild at inner angles of eyes ). Appreciate response from OLD-TIMERS. ## I have had prefrin prescribed approximately 25 years ago and I use this daily although cautioned by optomotrists that this could lead to a permanent red vessel eye condition. I do however find these drops comfortable to use and the removal of red in my eyes. I can no longer find this product and pharmacies all indicate"out of stock". I assume that the product is no longer available and perhaps I could be informed of a replacement or alternative product. Information would greatly be appreciated. ## I used to use Prefrin in the 80's & ...
