I need a Doctor that will prescribe adderall or other ADHD medications in Portland, OR. I had a script before I moved here, but no luck finding a doctor that will let me have my script again. I really need this medication. I do not abuse it, but recently I've had a terrible time with Care Oregon. I'm willing to pay out of pocket, but some psychiatrists still will not even take an appointment with me bc I'm in the system under Care Oregon. In Arkansas, it was no problem. I had medicaid. I have a bulging disc and go to Kelsey Seybold as part of my insurance plan. I took ultram or ultracet for 18 years whenever I needed pain medicine cause I couldn't function on Vicodin or the other hydrocodones. I never had a problem with it, I took it as needed and that was that. Now that they made it a narcotic because some people did get addicted to it???? I live in Missoula, MT. I was at a pain clinic but got tired of the constant numbness I got from the MS contin I was prescribed, so I withdrew on my own. It was hell, I had been on them for 4 years. I somehow thought the pain would go away. It didn't. I have low back pain from two torn discs, stenosis, and a facet joint problem. My regular doc will give me meds from time to time when I wrench my back. But he is on sabattical and his partner will NOT even discuss my pain....I am so frustrated! The Drug Enforcement Agency is making it very hard on doctors to prescribe pain medicine such as oxycodone, oxycontin, percocet and even hydrocodone. They have set new rules that go into effect May of 2016, that's this month. Unless you have a serious condition and have been on these meds for the treatment of your pain it will no longer be easy peasy getting the appropriate pain relief you need from a general practitioner... If you have sciatica with burning down the legs into the feet I suggest seeing a neurologist to treat your pain... Avoid a pain management clinic for now (until the dust settles from the new rules) if that's you I described.. A neurologist will order a emg, mri, and even a CT Scan. I'm tapering off of opiate pain meds, but I'm constantly sick to my stomach. I consume marijuana, and it helps tremendously. My Dr has known that I have been using marijuana for the whole time that I've been seeing him. Well, on my last visit he not only lowered me more than we had previously talked about, but he also said that I HAD to stop having marijuana or else I'd be kicked out. I was on lortab for 6 years. They stoppd workn and my doctor wouldn't raise or switch me to another med. Then he died. I starts getn pills off the street because I couldn't get another Dr fast. I went to local Dr and he talked me into suboxone. I stayed on that for 7 months but it wasn't helping with my pain. Great for the withdrawals though. That's been 4 years ago. Florence SC, I am 56, have stage 3 -4 emphysema, I osteoarthritis, have been in some kind of pain since I was 5. I wore braces on my legs for years, had a hip replacement in 1997, 2. Back surgeries in 1999, the last one was a fusion. I use oxygen 24 hours a day. I was getting 90 hydrocodone 10/350 per month, but after having the shingles that effected the nerves in my brain (4th time with shingles in 8 months). I took additional medicibe to deal with the pain from the shingles. My doctor, sent me to a pain management doctor who was fired before my first visit. I was in a car accident and had a head injury and my migraines started. They have been on and off all my life and started up again when I get cancer and was given chemo with facial in it. My migraines started up again and were so severe I was going to stop all chemo. They thought I was going to die and assigned me a palliative care pain management doctor. I did not die and my migraines never stopped. My pain management Dr dropped me and I can't find another Dr to prescribe anything. I took .39mgs of occasions every 4 hours and never abused them. I have Ankylosing Spondylitus, fibromyalgia, degenerative disk desease with two herniated disk and 3 bulging. Facet joint damage etc.. Im a mess. I have been on Norco (1-2 pills a day as needed) for about 8 years. I need a new doctor who will prescribe this without thinking I am a drug addict!! Hi I am looking for a pain management doctor who will prescribe 10 or 15 mg percocets. I live in Burlington county NJ. I have severe scoliosis and I am always in pain. Since you're in Alabama, the best suggestion I can make is that find yourself a regular, general practitioner and then discuss the issue with them, so they can refer you for pain management. Actually, I think after over 1,000 years, it has likely lost most of its usefulness. LOL! Sorry, I couldn't resist the joke, typos are so much fun. :-) Either way though, medications do lose efficacy with age, so it would actually be best to dispose of it and see your doctor for a new prescription, if one is needed. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness and insomnia. Is there anything else I can help with?

Need to find doctor to fill pain medication in surrounding Nashville area..Our Doctor after 15 years of going to, fell ill and close his practice. .Mom has chronic back an leg pain and can't have surgery and myself numerous knee surgeries. .Most doctors I found do not prescribe pain meds..Help :( ## Dr Yelameli at Nashville Pain & Wellness on Isabella Drive in Brentwood TN is a good dr but won't tolerate any b.s. I have had two back surgeries and have had spinal blocks even after surgeries . I work in the automobile industry building Mercedes Benz. I am on my fit 8-10hrs aday. The painin my hips and lower back can be icrutiating at times and the only thing that will minimize my pain at times is pain meds. I have been off and on for sometime now but it's getting so hard to find a doctor that will fx any type of narcotics. I've never tried a pain management doctor but have had a doctor that was rx 180 tabs a month but he retir d so it's been hard to find anyone that will write that many . I sometimes have to take up to 6 some days but that is when its a very bad day . Can you help me?
