I am having severe cold and fever. Can I take MOX capsule. Just found a capsule with yellow, gray and pink on it. It has L printed on the pink end and 3 printed on the yellow end. Does anyone know what it is ## This is an over the counter product, it's primarily sold at CVS under the name CVS Allergy & Cold. It contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 12.5mgs of Diphenhydramine and 5mgs of Phenylephrine. It does pretty much what the name says, it treats the symptoms of colds and allergies. Is there anything else I can help with?

Thanks ## Hi David, I can't seem to locate the manufacturer of this drug, but I did come across a brief article for it on Walgreens' webpage, which leads me to believe that they may actually carry it there in the Cold-Allergy section: health.walgreens.com/tags/show/173158/uni-tex-120-10 Do you know what the active ingredients of it are? Perhaps you can also buy them separately if they don't have the brand you're looking for. I hope this helps!

This seems to be a cough & cold medicine to help alleviate the symptoms. Does anyone have a different list of ingredients for Dynatussin, or does it seem to be accurate? One thing to note is that antibiotics cannot treat a cold or flu since those are viruses, whereas antibiotics kill bacteria.

I found 3 white capsules in my teens pocket. they are imprinted with 44-455. They don't match any med's we have in our house. I am 65 year old. I am having severe problems with dry cough. It comes once in every year. It lasts for 2 months. Is it OK to take MOX 500 capsules as antibiotic and for how many days. ## Antibiotics will only help with bacterial infections, they will not help with the viruses that cause colds, or flu. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Additionally, taking it when it is not appropriate creates the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. Are you on any other medications? There are no markings on this capsule. ## I am sorry, but if there are no markings, it will be impossibly to positively identify, unless you would pay to have it lab tested. There are several on the market that meet this description, such as over the counter vitamins, supplements and cold remedies. I have seen several vitamin C capsules that match this exact description.

This was found at a middle school and we are trying to identify it. We have found a capsule which is half white and half red with an MK in an oval in black imprinted on each half of the capsule. Any idea what this is? ## I am sorry, but I can't find any information on this.
