But in regards to their individual potency, Tramadol is often touted as a much weaker pain medication than your typical narcotic, such as Norco (M357). Comments from other people have also mentioned that Tramadol should probably be considered an over-the-counter medication relative to the dose. If you haven't tried either medication yet, it may be best to talk to your doctor first about giving each of them a trial run, to see how your body responds. I just rec'd 30 of these, but they have NO effect. Tooth/gum pain. Am used to oblong tramadol tablets - which, although weak, have an effect on my pain. Now we're getting these AN 627s. These are like placebos. ## these are the REAL thing, not a placebo.
