there are two pills that I am needing some information on, one is a small oval white pill that is scored on one side with the numbers 37and 97 on the scored side and the other side of the pill has a v on it. The second pill is a small round pink pill scored on one side only with the number 93 on the top part above the score and on the bottom it has the number 733 on it the other side of the pill is completly smooth with no markings on it. ## The tablet with the 3797 V contains 30mgs of Isosorbide Mononitrate, which is most commonly used to treat Angina. Percocet contains the active ingredients Oxycodone, and Acetaminophen, and the maximum dosage of it available contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. My personal assumption is that it lost a good percentage of its potency by now, having been 5 years old. It may still be somewhat effective, but not nearly as potent. I was told Friday by my Pain Management Doctor at my monthly appointment that the DEA was implementing a new law dictating to doctors on how much pain medication they could prescribe per patient per day. It could be equal to no more than 120 mg of Morphine per day per patient and they had to comply within 3 months for all of their patients. I am trying to find out as much information on this as possible. Hi I have been on 20 meq 3 times a day for a week. My potassium levels were at 2.2 at the time the doctor prescribed them for me. I am on 20 mg of lasix a day for kidney issues. I am going back to doc next week for more blood work. Do you think my levels will be increased greatly? ## They should improve over the week, but there's no way to say how much. I've generally found them to work very fast, though. The FDA warns that they can be very hard on the stomach, so they should be taken with food. As to the low potassium levels, Lasix has been known to cause that, so you might want to ask your doctor about switching to a potassium sparing diuretic. Is there anything else I can help with?
