Verwon,

Your wrong. It's very apparent that you are not taking these pills, and/or you have never had a long standing chronic pain problem, and had to go from one of these to the other. What the majority of people are now saying about the difference in potency, is 100% correct, and my local pharmacy will verify this as well. Alot of people are demanding the yellow Norco made by Qualitest, as opposed to it's counterfit counterpart., made by Mallinckrap.

The difference in the potency is very apparent to any long term user. The yellow ones work good. The white ones are garbage, and weak, and a complete ripoff to not only the consumers, but to the government. Medicaid and Medacare need to stop the sale of these white fraudulant Norco. They are stealing the taxpayer dollar every time they sell these pills!

I know the company line about the only difference is the yellow die, which was said to cause problems with some people. That's a load of bs! How many people have gotten sick from the small amount of food die used in pills? The difference is not the die my friend, but the drug itself, has been changed, and the new white ones lost alot more then color.

The pills are about 1/3 as strong as the yellow ones. And yes, the yellow ones are still available at many pharmacies, just call and ask for them. I had my pharmacy put it on my file that I want just the yellow Norco and they do give me just that every month. They do cost a about 3 bucks more, but that's well worth it. They said they have had many complaints about these new white things, and people are wanting the yellow ones back.

They gave me the white ones 1 time, by accident and I wrote the company that makes them, and told them they had a bad product on the market. They called me and asked about the pills. I told them I have been taking this same pill for years and it's real easy to see the difference. I thought they might change the pills, but it looks like they will wait until nobody will accept them first. It takes everyone complaining to get this changed. It's simply a cost saving thing. They make more profit by cutting the drugs! Hey, did they learn that on the streets?

Don't be fooled or ripped off folks-if your Dr. gives you a script for generic Norco-10/325, to really kill the pain, call your local pharmacy and make sure they have them in stock or if they still carry them. Big pharmacies are switching to the white, like Walmart and Walgreens. Call the small mom and pop pharmacies in your town, they will have the yellow ones, or will order them. If you take the white ones you will be sorry as they are about as strong as two Tylenol.

Joe
Don't accept the white ones. You have the right to use any pharmacy you want, and you can ask for the yellow Norco only. You simply need to call around to the smaller pharmacies in your area, as their the ones now carrying the yellow Norco.325/10 Norco made by Qualitest..
Their the best, and they have the numbers 36/01 on them. I refuse to accept any of the white ones, as their a rip off, and my pharmacy now knows about it, as many customers are now demanding the yellow ones.
So, for some reason, I have to now pay a few bucks more for these, but it's well worth it. If I have to drive across town now every month to get a new script from my doctor, then I want pills that work.
Eventually, people will start to see that their being cheated with these bogus white fake Norcos, and demand the yellow ones again. Their still being made but you need to find them. And the smaller pharmacies is the best place to look.

I too am prescribed the m367 white pill. And it is not the same as yellow3601. You say the difference is the companies. Not true. The m367 give me a headache from hell and i still have my back pain after one or two pills. Im not high tolerance cuz i just started this month after 10 yrs. I was given prescription from e.r. and got yellow3601 10 count. And my doctor gave me a prescription and pharmacy gave me m367 120 count. I thaught the headache was a coincidence so i took the yellow, Pain was gone and no headache. I take the white And I Have A Unbearable Headache That I Cant Even Open My Eyes.dont Say (their The Same Just Different Companies Cuz Its Not) if It Was The Same Why The Different Price. $30 -$70 price Difference

Yes they are. The "new improved" white ones are useless to anyone that's been taking Norco for any length of time. I can't feel a thing when I eat those. I kill more pain with Tylenol. That drug maker is simply stealing Medicare money from the Feds, and they should be investigated for fraud. Their pushing a useless, phony baloney pain pill. It's only been out now for about a year, and the complaints are huge.

I wrote them as soon as I was given some, and b****ed about them to the company. A company rep called me, and I said they needed to fix their product. They said maybe I got a bad batch. Right. Their scamming the public with those things. Their alot cheaper to buy, so the big pharmacies love em. But, people are refusing them in droves, and their losing customers to the pharmacies that still carry the good old yellow ones. Don't let the store push these bogus pills on you! Refuse any white Norco-It's yellow or nothing, and when they are no longer available, I'll have to go on up to a stronger pain med. MS Contin-morphine.-Don't want to, but their forcing me if they quit making the yellow Norco.

I finally found the yellow v 3601 Norco. I've been taking the white ones for several months now. First month of the white ones switching from methadone 10's, Wow what a difference. They work so much better. I know switching from 30 MGS of methadone is a big change. I didn't want to take that poison anymore. I was getting the white M 10 mg hydrocodone. Wow there is a huge difference. Three white ones are like two of the v3601's yellow. Only bad thing is the mom and pops pharmacy charged me $120 for 120 tablets compared to $26 using a savings card at Walmart. Huge difference in price. If you're on a budget some ppl can't afford the yellows but this month no pharmacy which I could use my savings card had the white so I have to pay quite a bit more. Is it worth it yeah but for the $ it's crazy. 3x as much. Good luck everyone. Wish me luck finding a pharmacy that I can find yellows cheaper.

The only difference between these two tablets is that they are manufactured by different companies. The one with the M marking is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and the one with the V is manufactured by Vintage/Qualitest.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

But both are the same dosage and contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen.

Is there anything else I can help with?

I do not believe the white Watson or Norco would help as much as two Tylenol. I suffer day and night because I have had three disks removed, have spurs, bulging disk plus several more things wrong with my spine. Where can I fill a prescription for this medicine that will help? Would Super Discount carry a better brand, it is small.
