the norco 10/325 is actually stronger. if you will take it before the pain starts, they will help you......you know your body and if you're hurting or not, so i would try a pre-emptive strike on the pain......i get oxycodone myself. 15mg, 4 times per day & my dr said that by taking them throughout the day the pain will be contained and to try to keep it in check by keeping the level of the narcotic up to withstand the pain........it works....

All of these are opiate analgesics, but Tramadol is the weakest of what you've listed, Hydrocodone would be next and Oxycodone is the strongest of these.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Thus, if the Norco isn't working, you may want to speak to your doctor about trying Oxycodone or Percocet, which combines Oxycodone with Acetaminophen.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Each NORCO 10/325 is 10 mg of hydrocodone and 325 mg of Acetaminophen. According to what you say in your post, you were taking a lower dose combination prior to the change to NORCO 10/325.
So, it doesn't make much sense that you would not be getting equivalent or increased pain relief from the change to NORCO 10/325. Perhaps your stomach is upset due to the increased Hydrocodone in your dosage. It seems that you are now taking less Acetaminophen, which is good as it's very hard on the liver.
Let your doctor know right away that you're having problemsand see if need a different medication or dosage would help you.

Please consider discuss with tour pain manager about dropping the 325, which is just acetaminophen or aka: Tylenol, which prolonged use will eventually blow your liver out. The replacement lists are just to long to find another liver. Best wishes.

Sorry, omitted an acual course of action to discuss with your pain manager, (on my my cell), discuss 10mm x3 to start of Oxycodone, it removes the 325 / 500mg of Tylenol which could be giving you the trouble you mention, which also will eventually blow out your liver, and may also give you backlash headaches. Also known as acetaminophen < 10 is supposed to be safe, but that seems to change dependant upon which journals you read or consult per day. Mobic is also good alternative for inflammatory or arthritis related issues, used in combination and is only taken X1 per day versus others within the same family of meds that must be taken x3 per day. 20mg of omeprazole X2 may help your stomach, and I regret, because I don't care for it, but a fiber power will balance what they now call OIB, opioid Irratable bowel syndrome, ie., keeps you from getting plugged up, (regular). Best wishes.

Very Respectfully,
Lamronton
