(888) 726-7535 Perdue Pharm.. Call them and tell them your having problems!! If enough people call, they will go back to the reg oc!! A pharmacist told me to do this!! Perdue has begun an investigation into the matter because soo many people have had bad results with the new op!! The problem is, Perdue wont change them back uless at least 15% of the people taking them complain and also tell them your switching to a different drug from a different pharmacy such as Mallinckroft 15mg or 30mg instant release!!

I just got off of the phone with Perdue..DON'T EXPECT he old formula back and DON't Expect any sympathy!
I was told I could talk with one of their pharmacists.. I have used the same strength pill for 9 years. I use ir PROPERLY and I am being punsihed!! What happend to a free country? Legalize Heroin and the OC abusers will fade somewhat? Methadone substitutes one addiction for another.. Guess there are no easy answers but to tell PERDUE to jump up MY ---! ADD the DEA and FDA to that as well!

I am WELL Aware of the usual side efect..BU teh new formula,, gels to prhoitbit abuse..THOSE Of us who DID NOT BUSE them and who ca n NOT tolerate the new formula ar enow subjected to MULTIPLE..MULTIPle doses per day, a peak and trough of medication level. and POOR pain CONTROL!
Guess the next step other than RE-CLAIMING A SEMBLEMCE of quality of lie..HOW DO I MAKE SURE Perdue for thier lack of concern or empathy pays where they are most concerned.-- their bottom line...!?

i think we should start a on line petition to get the oc back can you image if there like slimmy when you wet them what they do to your stomach , not healty at all, ive been on oc for 5 years due to a back injurey and several surgeries these ops make me sick

i have been takin oxycontin oc 80 mg for 7 years'. i just got the oxycontin op 80 mg. and they are not the same, can somebody please help me with an alternative medication if possiible, so far ive heard of codeine-contin and oxymorphone please help if you know anything about these meds or anything else thank you for your help

tell perdue if they wanna make money go back to the real ones. theyre gonna lose billions of dollars so maybe theyll go one day?? if u keep switching to a different med ie. the 15s and 30s theyre just gonna reformulate those too. Contact the inventor and see how theyre made. Also be careful a lot of fake 80s are rolling around theyre laced with Ajax my friend almost died.

I have actually heard of this method a few times tonight (I've been online reading on the OP's for like 5 hours now). It seems to be the best way out there so far to defeat the OP. It seems some what logical to me. At least a hell of a lot more logical than trying to abuse this stuff.

I have used 20 mg of oxy 2x daily for the last 2 years. The new op I started on last week has no effect on me what so ever. {edited for safety} Everybody is different, but maybe this will help you out as well.

These are approved, because it is just a reformulation of the original Oxycontin, specifically designed to prevent abuse. As long as the active ingredient remains the same, the approval remains.

I am very sorry to hear that people are having so much trouble with this medication. When this happens, your best bet is to contact the company and the FDA about it. The more problems that are reported, the more attention will be paid to them.


Side effects will also still be the same: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.

I've been taken OCs for over ten years was doing great until two months ago when these new OPs came out. Been sick for the last two months severe pain again can't go to the bath room chest pain trouble breathing which I was admitted to the hospital new OPs does not work and will probably be the death of me. Need a good attorney? What else can be taken instead?

The new OP tablets do have problems: 1. They do cause phlem to build up in lungs 2. They do cause stomach/digestive problems beyond the Op type tablets 3. They aren't releasing the oxycodone the same time nor amount of medication 4 the tablet is having problems getting through the GI tract causing backup 5 general disatisfaction by patients too many complaints to overlook... Although the Op tablet type of oxycontin has satisfied the FDA the end users are the ones who will have the final says as to which medications they take, this is a choce between the Doctor and Patient however the limitations wilol be based on what medications are available, there appears to be a shortlist of ER oxycontin which will open the door for other manufactures to remedy the issues related to OP the only real question is when...

thoes new op's aint gone get removed no materr how many people bitch about them. try morphine controlled release instead of ir's oxy's. u need round the clock pain management. the ir's are for break through pain or acute pain. also every one knows if u start bitching bout the meds that u r on ur doc will give u the dick around and have u try all other non narcotic remedies plus more phy thearapy and after all that u get tramadol it aint worth it. just try talking to ur doc and explain the situation how they make u feel and that u need medicine for chronic pain

I hope i die and then they can go to my back and see the pain i was in and then when while they are there can see how messed up the op did to my somach and esopaghus.Its not even dissolving in my chest when i drink it with water it feels like it is gettin stuck.So the hell with this quality of life.Anyhow people that took these meds were tallked about being drug addicts.So face down and you get it.2012
