I know just what you are going through. I don't know what to do. I wrote to governor oh Ohio today. We all need to make a stand. Even if we can stand with out feeling pain. We need to rally for our rights

We need a way to legally take down our gov for practicing with out a license. But what ätty office will sure the gov? NONE
In this democratic country we are being forgotten. The public is not aware of our plight. They only hear about the ODs and the
Abuse. Propaganda by our gov makes sure of
That.
We are weak and sick and unable to fight.
Now we have t r ump to contend with so matters will only get worse.
Is there a leader out there for us?

I know this is an old pist. Please share the name of your doc with me. I have had fibrmyalgia diagnosed 15 years ago at the Cleveland Clinic and was treated with a variety of things - nerve blocks, pain meds that were switched every so often so no "addiction problems", etc. For the ladt 6 years Ive been in Western Co., small town and have gone without treatment. I will soon be moving to Texas and don't care how far ai have to drive to find some relief. Thank you in advance. Dee

Where in Tennessee do you reside in? I was able to find a pain management specialist that listens to his patients. I had a stroke back in 2009. I can walk with a limp but I can't use my right arm or hand due to a stroke. I began having pain in my hand that comes from the brain. I am prescribed 10-325 Lortab, one every six hours. This doesn't get rid of the pain but it knocks it down 75% so I can have a good quality of life.

Well I been on pain med for eight years. Mostly vicoden, but have done spine injections ,& fentyenal patch. But vicoden gives me a life. Without them is pure hell. Was at one time receiving 220 a month. Was able to lead a life every day. Now I'm down to 120 a month. I go through withdrawal every month. A week to ten days of hell. I have to plan everything for the two weeks I'm able to function. I need a different dr. Mine says this is the way it is deal with it. I'm in central Illinois

not an addict 3 back surgeries chronic pain is there a compassionette dr in Portland or Gresham OREGON that will continue to prescribe Norco ive been taking for 7 yrs.? Got new ins so i have to start over and that is truly what helps me get through my work day. No HIGH just helps me beable to move alittle more freely. Thank you

Gator, There has been a recall of Opana by the FDA recently so no more writing for that apparently it has been found to not be affective enough abuse deterrent in the pill so it has been banned.

Note: I took it for years then switched to Xtampza ER which I really do NOT like cause it is very weak in effectiveness. Dr will not increase dosage so not know if would be good at a higher dose. Oxycontin works best however cannot afford since their patient assistance won't qualify me and my ins not cover. Good luck to us all.
