Will Soma show up basically the same as Oxycodone in a urine test? If not how long does it take to get the soma out of your system? I had neck fusion in 2003. Have been taking Soma since then and my Dr. changed it to Valium. I have had to take my Soma. Have a urine drug test in a few days. Will the Soma show up? PLEASE HELP.

No soma doesn't show up in drug test so don't worry and don't let them trick you by them saying they showed up cause they love doing that cause most people don't know how the test work and get scared and tell them when they have no idea I get tested twice every month an I take somas everyday when I have um and never once have they said it showed up an my test are meant to find any and every thing drug wise in me so somas isent even consider a serious drug even thou there stronger than any. muscle relax out there and habit forming. Your fine keep taking your sons but I tell your doc.why did he take you off knowing they cause withdrawls

YES, soma shows up. It's one drug that stands alone and has its own test. Same thing happened to me I got switched from soma to valium and they don't work so I take the soma instead. Just stop taking the soma 2-7 days before your pee test, soma is short lived and is out of the system in 2-7 days, I have even taken them up till 2 days before my UA, just drank tons of fluid to flush system and I passed and my liver is all jacked up doesn't function properly.

Someone mentioned OxyContin & oxycodone ...... They both are TWO different drugs & all people who give out these U/A tests know the difference.... One is a Percocet ( oxycodone) & well you know what the OxyContin's are.

Actually, benzos are considered a narcotic. There are different benzos....valium is more used in pain management because it comes from valerian root and is diazepam.....not BENZOdiazepam. Benzodiazepines are xanax, ativan, and clonopins and they are used MORE for anxiety....not pain management. Im not saying that some dr's dont perscribe benzos for pain management but it is a narcotic drug and one of the most addictive narcotic drugs with very serious withdrawals which often include seizures

This is incorrect. Carisoprodol will not test positive for barbiturates as it does not give off any of the metabolites that barbiturates produce, which is what the test looks for.

This is totally and completely false. I have been in a methadone clinic and have never had a dirty drop because i follow the program. Inly methadone shows up as methafone plys the metabolites to make sure it is passed through the liver so the "junkies" people refer to cant jyst put methadone in their pee.....and for those people who say junkies ruin it for the people that are in real pain, the truth of the matter is nobody can ruin anything that has todo with YOUR PAIN Mgmt. Ive found that people who are in "real pain" are jyst using that as an excuse to get every kind of pain pill they can. If you are in that much pain, get a medical marijuana card and stop throwing stones when one lives in a glass house.

OK, I am tested each month at my docs for all my med school, which includes SOMA!!! AND, yes 100% Soma can and will show up on a UA. Most offices do a 12 to 14 screening for 12 to 14 different types of media, and street DRUGS!!!! If you have taken it at least 2 to 3 days before your appt. it will show up!!!! Been on this medication for 10 years now, and yes they do test for it, so my advice would be if your not supposed to take it, then don't; because I'm sorry but yes it is because of people that are strung out, taking it to feel HIGH, and selling it, that makes it so very hard for people like me and so many others to get their med!!!!

Soma will only show up in GC/MS testing and unless you work a very important job for the government or are on probation you dont need to worry.
