Positive Drug Screen For Supplements??
UpdatedI go to a suboxone clinic for an opiate addiction for two years now. I have never had a positive drug screen for anything other than suboxone. Two weeks ago I started taking two dietary supplements for a severe case of neuropathy in my feet and lower legs. The names of the formulas are, "nerve repair optimizer" and "neuropathy support formula". These are made by the, "neuropathy treatment group". They contain, b1 & b12 vitamins, r-alpha lipoic acid vitamin d, b2, b6, benfotiamine with a proprietary blend of, feverfew herb extract, oat straw herb extract, passion flower herb extract and skullcap root extract. Other ingredients are dicalcium phosphate, hypromellose (capsule), microcrystalline cellulose & magnesium stearate. When I had my next drug screen at the clinic after taking these supplements, I tested positive for codeine, morphine & benzo's. My daily prescriptions are metform, neurontin, etodolac, duloxetine, cozar & lipitor. The supplements are the only new pills in my regimen. Due to the bad drug screen, I have been immediately discharged from the suboxone program. Please help me asap as I don't know what to do without my suboxone. Can anything in the supplements pop as a false positive on the drug screen. Thank you.
