My wife has a prescription that she can't get filled. None of the pharmacies seem to carry this product? As such I'm reaching out to ask youwhich pharmacies in dallas fort worth stock opana er 10 mg Qty. 45 or generic. ## I too was prescribed Opana. I called every name brand to ma and pop shop pharmacy to be told they do not carry them and can't order them. Have y ou had any luck finding a place in DFW that can fill this RX? ## Meadowbrook Pharmacy on the east side of Ft Worth will order them for you and have them the next day. This was the only one I could find that would fill Opana. Ask for Darren.

I've been with the same dr for 8+ years, he prescribes me percocet/opana/xanax. Recently I got a discharge letter for "failed drug panel" no details except that in 30 days he will no longer be my DR. I have taken frequent U/A's and have never failed one, now suddenly it appears I have. I still have about 2 weeks that he is "officially" my dr. I also have an upcoming appointment that they haven't canceled. I really don't know what to do from here, how to proceed, or what (if anything) can be done, because I do not do any other drugs except the ones he prescribes. I am on both of these meds do to severe medical issues. I take 40 Mg of opana 4 x daily and 30 Mg of oxycodone 5 x daily as well as Nortriptyline 150 Mg twice daily and neurontin 600 Mg 3 x daily. Needless to say a few different stomach medication due to chronic nausea. Oh and also phenergan pills and injectable. My question is has anyone found anything other than multiple medications to relieve severe chronic pain. ## I also have severe medical problems and nothing works. For two years was on 3Mg iv dilaudid every three hours and 120 percocet 10/325 every month. Zofran for nausea. How long does opana stay in your blood stream? ## Opana (oxymorphone) has an average half-life of 7-9hrs. Knowing this, you can simply divide the dose you took in half every 7-9 hours (after you took the injection/oral tablet) and so forth until the math becomes small decimals. This can give you an idea of how much of your dose is still in your system at any given time. For a urine test, it will be out of your body wiithin approximately 48 to 72 hours. I got my new Opana Prescription this week and it is the new formulation. The old ones were six sided and the new one is round. The new formulation, that the FDA approved, is supposed to be the same quality as the old Opana we are used to. I hope so. I am going to include the links to the articles that discuss this at the bottom, the latest article is directly from the makers of Opana and is from February. The old stock of Opana is all supposed to be gone from the shelves by now and the pharmacists are all supposed to be using the new formulation. I was at work and had an argument with a fellow coworker. She told me I had picked on the wrong one and I would be sorry. About 5 hours later, I fell asleep at my desk and was sent for a drug screen. It came back positive for opana. I had never heard of the drug and had to look it up on the computer to find out what it was. Could you please tell me how long this stays in your system ? I have a very high metabolism and was so surprised to see a positive drug screen come back for a drug I didn't know what it was. The only way it could have possibly gotten into my system is that some one put it in my soda when I was away from my desk, but unfortunately, there were no cameras around to prove my suspicions. I am prescribed 90 Opana 40mg Ocxcodone 30mg as well as 60 1mg Colazapan,in order for my levels to be accurate how much of each pill should be put into clean urine to pass? ## It is doubtful that such a thing would work to past a urine screening, those tests don't just look for the presence of the actual drug, but also for the metabolites of it, which only show up when they have actually been processed through your body. In addition, the levels of the drugs would have to fall within certain ranges that are calculated according to your age, weight, health, dosing frequency and etc. Anything outside of the expected ranges will alert them that you aren't taking them as prescribed. I took a ten panel pre employment drug screen ... It came up positive for high levels of prescription drugs she said. I took opana the day before and the day of and they want a copy of my prescription from Dr which I don't have. Can I pass off my hydrocodone script for the opana.?? Or do they say exactly what it is? I have been taking oxycodone 10-325 for 8 years with no problem and my pain was managed well. But I had to change Pain Management docs and the new doc has Added (not replaced) Opana 7.5 ER to my monthly script. I would really appreciate it. Thanks for your help. ## Hey Iceman, try this site's rx discount card - you can print or email it to yourself and bring it with you to the pharmacy. It might also help if you fill your rx with the generic medication (Oxymorphone) instead of the brand name. I think it could be around $80 or maybe even less if you use the discount card and get the generic. Hope this helps and let me know how it goes for you!

I'm on Opana IR 10mg but have been throwing them up bc I've been sick & have issues swallowing. The doctor knows this but still... Anyway, I just wanted to ask, if I take oxycodone and still have opana to take before my appt, and she does a urine dip in office, what does it show as? Or would it show as the same - opiates? I've seen several posts saying that oxycodone will show as oxymorphone but oxymorphone won't show as oxycodone. Is that possible?! I have scripts for oxy, opana & even Vicodin, so I can cover myself if need be. And I'm sure she will understand why I had to take the other med. I just want to know what to expect. They are saying that the new opana works as well as the old. There are so many peoples statements that I have read saying the new don't work as well but yet Endo states their research don't prove that. All people who have a real medical problem that causes pain and takes new opana and it doesn' work as well as the old needs to speak up. One person can't change anything. People who are being treated awful by medical doctors and pain clinics because they have pain also need to speak up. ## I am very sorry that people are suffering due to the medication changes. Are there any tricks to get the insurance company to authorize opana when the 2 other medications that they cover are giving me way to many debilitating side effects . My pain doc switched me to opana or OxyContin so I'd get pain relief without sedation, itching , rashes and vomiting . I've tried OxyContin and I had none of those side effects. This last time my doctor changed my pain meds from Opana 10mg every 8 hr. and oxycontin 20mg twice a day TO Opana ER 15mg every 12 hours and Dilaudid 4mg every six hours I was crying and pretty hopeless with diabetic neuropathy in legs and arms, severe trigger fingers, hip pain, and my knees about to blow off with pain. I insufflated a half of a lortab 500 mg a hour before my urine test. do you think I passed? ## I've taken a 30mg opana everyday for four days I have a urine test tomorrow ,I do have a script for 5mg oxycodone and now that oxycodone metabolizes into oxymorphone,it will be 24 from the last bit of opana I did until my test if I just take the oxycodone will I be all set for tomorrow's test or will it show to much in my system?
