I just took a 30mg ER opana(new formula) by mouth after chopping it up into about 60 little pieces...I have a drug test tomorrow, will it show up? ## A friend of mine told me that it is not a real opiate , that its a synthetic ## The doc is sooo wrong. Busted on the ua. ## 180 15 mg oxycodone & 60 opana 20mg ER per 30 days. I cannot seem to make it through the entire 30 days though. Why??? Maybe I should ask the good doctor to increase the mg's?

I found a white round pill with markings 54 814. My friend said it was an Opana 10 mg. Is it? ## I have checked all of our resources for a tablet with this marking or a similar one and I am not finding anything in the U.S. prescription drug databases. I'm having a problem of turning bright red when I am out in the sun for just a short while.(NOT sunburn) Does Opana cause a reaction to the sun? ## It has been known to cause the redness, as a side effect according to the FDA reports, and being out in the sun likely exacerbates it, which can happen with many medications. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. As of june 26,2013 Do they still have available the generic opana 40mlg er on stock or backorder at pharmacies in Sacramento,ca.....?? ## Hi Frank, Unfortunately there's no real way of knowing what any pharmacies have in stock at any given moment. Inventories constantly change on a moment to moment basis as patients fill prescriptions and pick up orders. Calling them generally isn't recommend either, since many pharmacists are trained to say no to a stranger on the phone asking for narcotics. So one would essentially have to go in person (with your script in hand) to a particular pharmacy in order to ask if they have what you need in stock. My husband has had a Brain hemrage a broken neck and slipped disc. His Dr in Charleston Ohio was viving him oxy 15 and perck 10mg. His Dr got busted for stupided stuff and he was a patient there for 4 yrs. Now we can not find a Dr to help him and he has a headache every day. I'm scared he will have another Brain hemrage.

I am on Opana ER 30mg and Opana 15mg. I ran out 8 days ago. Will it still show up in my urine test, because it needs to be? Also I took a total of 30 Norco 10mg over a period of 8 days because I was in so much pain....will it be out my system in 3 1/2 days because I need it to be!!! I get them EVERY month! ## That is correct, though these are the generic for Opana and aren't instant release tablets, they are actually regular release. Once you swallow them, they'll take about 15 to 20 minutes to start working. Learn more Oxymorphone details here. I have bulging discs at L5,L4,L3,L2,L1, AND S1. I also have spinal stenosis and degeneritive disc disease. My Pain Doc has me on Opana 40ER, one in am when I wake and one around 5:00. P.M. I am also on Norco 10/325 for breakthru and use around 7 a day. I have SEVERE Night sweats and my doc, is after me to slow down the Norco due to possible liver damage. Is there a drug that is just as good as Norco that I can use in Place of it. My pain doc thinks the sweating is caused by the Opana but she is not sure. No doctor can tell me what is causing the night sweats. I go thru 6-8 t-shirts a night and the sweat literally drips off my head at night. This is the Generic BI-ROXANE which differs from the ENDO BRAND and the ENDO GENERIC, yes they have both and there appears to be no differance between the two. Infact the ENDO AND THE GENERIC ENDO both have the same co-payment with my insurance which I find very odd as the Roxane does not. I get these btw from Walgreens and I'm amazed how many generics they appear to have compared to any other drug store on the planet, ie: Ethex. The 5mg Generic by Roxane has one defferent inactive ingredient than the the IR "instant release" ENDO which is a celulose product and it makes more of a gel than the ENDO ER's "extended release" used for tamper proofing. My pain dr. keeps giving me Flexoril for breakthrough along with Opana long acting. I never asked for it nor have used it-my pain mostly skeletal broken arms, fused kneecaps, bone disease stuff so why would I want to take muscle relaxer??!! When I put on monthly form that I don't want it-dr. just looks @ desk says nothing prints out scripts & says see you in 28 days.......Why wont he talk to me? Has anyone that takes Opana ER ONLY had a problem with Oxycodone showing up on urine drug testing? ## This is the post to my above question, The same happened to me... Hello, I am currently dependent on Opana and every time I lower it I get very sick. My plan is to decrease daily and I'm not doing well with that. I am severely allergic to Suboxone so my approach would be a Methadone taper however I don't know how much? I plan to switch to Oxycontin tomorrow to see if I can at least to that. How long does opana 40mg work for in your system? I took half of one just because I had nothing else for the pain. Then I tried to take my regular medicine and it's like it stopped it from working. How long till this goes away and I can take my regular medicine? It is the ER tablets btw. ## Hi Brooke - the Extended Release Opana is meant to work in your body for about 12 hours, with a half life of about 9-11 hours.[1] May I ask what your other medicine is? I'm on 10mg time release opana/oxymorphone. I took more than prescribed and ran out a week and a half early. I saved a half of a pill though. I have my urine test thursday afternoon. Does a half still last 12 hours like the whole or does it break down differently when broken? Thanks guys for any help!!
