Hello, Anna! How are you?
There are no medications available that are actually going to numb your body. Regardless of what you take to alleviate your pain, there will always be a chance of experiencing break through pain, especially with activity. If your body felt numb, you'd also not be able to move around and keep your balance.
Have you tried Oxycontin? It is a very powerful opiate that is time released, so it may help you achieve better pain control.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
It's an option you may want to discuss with your doctor.
