Hi. I need to find help. I am addicted to pain pills and would really like to get off of them. I have tried methadone and it works, i just need help finding a doctor to prescribe it for me. I live in Michigan. If anyone knows could you please help me? I cant go to a clinic because i dont live near one. I live in the upper penninsula but would drive downstate to get a doctor.....

Have you tried suboxone or subotex? I was on everything from K4s to roxys oc 80s and suboxone has helped i srill take two tablets a day for four years now and ive relapsed once u ahould chaeck it out it has work for many ppl not just me...good luck!!

Anyone know of a Doctor who will provide methadone in an office setting .I live in Leigh Valley.Lots of clinics but can not find a pain Doctor, Tries subs on subs now but do not help pain Please help!!!!!!

I am on a suboxone program and a week before I got on it I took some methadone. So now it comes up in my drug panel that I have to take every week for 3 weeks and I haven't taken methadone since the first time. How long will it continue to be present in my U/A? The doctor will not give me my suboxone cause he says I am doing methadone.

I ve had 30 plus broken bones and I am consider in chronic pain. I recently had my Dr. Retire after being prescribed 80mgs of Methadone for 16 years. Now I can't find a Dr. Who is willing to prescribe my Mead regiment at all. Help me out Wichita Ks

I have several severe medical issues that require pain management. My Dr prescribes me vicodin,fentanyl,and klonopin and I got on a methadone program for pain management at a clinic but I can't take going every day. I need a pain management doctor who will prescribe methadone on a monthly basis for my pain. I have all my records and mri's. I would appreciate any help.

you bum!! u dont know what u are talking about. Yes in some cases u r right but people in pain , well they really do need it. to say they are addicts cause then want pain relief and some times to just to be pain free and to be able to do something with your grand kids.U dont think right when u r in pain. if u havent been there then u should not put down person that need drugs to live. It might be against the law but that doesnt mean it is wrong. People make laws that make things illegal and then it is now wrong. Pain reief is not a crime cause some says so. A few Drs make up their minds and then makes it that way for everyone. u cant do that with pain .

I am a 63 year old woman in severe chronic pain from my back and fibromyalgia. Have been takin methadone and helps a lot. . But my Dr. Doesn't take my insurance Any more can someone tell me name of doctor in Cincinnati area

Can anyone please help me my mom has been on pain medication for over 20 yrs she got electrocuted at her job and has had hip replacement the list goes on and on she was 1st prescribed oxy 80mg with roxy 30mg and then but her on methadone and was on it for 16hrs then her doctor up and leaves and the new doctor doesn't want to prescribe her near what she took and she is in so much pain and us not herself anymore if anyone knows a doctor that will prescribe any of these please let me know. I live near tulsa but willing to drive her to oklahoma city she has glacoma and can't see hardly at all

Forget getting any methadone in Suffolk county new york. Now they are emailing prescriptions in and most doctors will not write out for pain anymore anything stronger than a tylenol 3 or a percocet. Nothing else. Also, in Suffolk county ny the new rule is you cannot receive more than 7 days worth of painkillers for the month. God forbid if it's a severe accident, you may be able to obtain something stronger. But all people on long Island now have to pay the price of not getting pain meds due to the epidemic of opiates on Long Island. What they don't realize is maybe they should put more effort into the street than the DEA minding the businesses of what Doctors are writing.

Subs are just as bad as methadone! And you ever decide to come off the sub's its just as painful as coming off methadone and does not help with pain anywhere near how methadone does. Just my opinion.. Been on both!

Can you still help someone with a methadone clinic? We just moved here from Chicago. My husband and I were both receiving prescriptions. Our doctor was sending them in to New York; good no problems until this month when I ask for my refill and the doctor said he's under restrictions from his employer and can't fill my prescriptions anymore. Now my husband on 8 pills a day for the last 3 years has no doctor. Is there anything you can do on Long Island as far as getting a prescription for Methadone? We only have 3 days worth of pills left. Please help us. My husband will lose his job. We are already running out of money to stay in hotels. Since we moved here waiting to find place we've been camping to save money but after November 1st we can no longer do that.

In this day and age I am still shocked to see so many people who are inconsiderate and not compassionate. It is not only one field that they feel this way about. They often judge everyone else as well. It saddens me to see this. Please take a good look at yourself.
