Light Blue Oblong Pill C25 (Page 2)
(Newest replies first)

Updated

I've found a light blue, oblong, fairly large (approx 20mm wide) pill. C25 embossed on one side, and a line dividing it in two on the other side.

Don't stress everybody, I found this pale blue C25 pill lurking at home & also freaked out (despite being on benzos myself) and guess what. Turns out it really is Mybulen. I know because I went and looked in the Mybulen bottle. I was hoping for a giant benzo, but no such luck.

It is 100% mybulen. For pain and anti-inflammatory effects. I was prescribed it as one of my meds when I was in hospital for severe burns. (On top of all the morphine and prafalgin drips hahaha)

It works great, however you shouldn't use it for the average pain (that's for paracetamol etc).

Nothing sinister. However, it usually doesn't come in it's own packaging, rather it is administered into those grey circular bottles by the chemist. Hence, why it can look sinister out of the bottle

It's a pill for enhancing one's libido. I got them over the counter. Lets you last longer than usual. Most taxi drivers in my area use it. Light blue, C25 and line on the other side. They call it the 'blue pill'. After some personal experience...... It works!!! For the lady who found it after a friend visited....he was thinking he got lucky and wanted to impress you by lasting longer. Many couples use it where im from for a little spice in their relationship.

It is most definetly Mybulen. I picked it up over the counter for severe ear ache. It works like a charm; not sure about side effects though as you get it in a plastic zip bag without an info leaflet.

The pill you have found is a mybulan, its is an anti-imflamatory pain pill. You do not need a prescription to buy them. They work well for headaches or any other pain. One is enough for a normal headache but 2 are required for more sevear pain. While they make you sleepy if you take more than one. My dad, my boyfriends parents and I have found nothing better for menstral pain, sevear headaches, migranes and any other type of pain. I first used Mybulan when it was prescribed to me after my wisdom teeth had been cut out.

Mybulen can be a problem, which I found out, by taking the prescription drug. It`s not the pain remedy that isthe problem, it`s the anti-inflamatory side. The recent side effect is very disturbing and with me, firstly, ulcers appeared under my dentures, but then, started discharging a smelly mucus from the anal canal, which is not only very sore, will not go away, not even when you stop taking the tablet. I sent the manufacturer an E Mail and they phoned me from Pretoria.
They wanted to know about a self cured ulcer I had, some 40 years ago and my blood pressure tablets which I have taken for years.
When I asked them about how to stop the mucus, I was told to go and see the prescribing doctor, who is some 200km away. Not a lot of help and nothing resolved.

I'm in South Africa and i'm using pills like you discribed (a line on the other side and a number "C25" on the other ) well that pill is called Mybulen: Uses: relief of mild to moderate pain of inflammatory origin with or without fever.

I also have two of these types of pills in a pot, but I believe them to be Mybulen, an aniti-inflamatory pain killer.
I can only have received them from a family member who is a nurse herself, so they are not from a 'sinister' source.
The pill is exactly as described, a light blue colour, with a mid-way score on one side and an imprint of C25 on the other.
I did some research: home.intekom.com/pharm/lennon/mybulen.html

Hi Shell,
My husband gave me one of these this morning when I complained of a headache. Never seen them before so did some checking before taking...also a single tablet with no packaging...said his dentist gave to him. I called his dentist to check what they are, never prescribed. I would also like to find out what this is. I will post when I do.

Thanks to everyone for responding - While I don't have a full answer yet, I am leaning towards it being something over the counter. Reason is because I did do some detective work courtesy of Google, and tried to isolate possibly matching descriptions from a resource which I know has quite an extensive listing of South African medications. The only tricky thing with that site is the fact that they don't seem to offer some sort of a full text search function, nor do they index the drugs by imprint codes. So then I turned back to Google and ran a query blue tablet C "25 mg", isolating the results to that site, and a number of results came back. Unfortunately, after going through several pages of results, I did not find an exact match (although a few came kind of close).

Anyways, sorry I don't have more useful information, but I hope that this was at least somewhat informative or helpful :) If anyone manages to get any other details, or figure out what this is, can you please respond back?

Hi Roy, I'm in south africa. And don't have the packaging as it was left in my lounge after a new friend visited. I was just wondering if he had bad intentions - anyway - he's out of my life now. So if you don't know what it is - no worries. Just would be nice to know - to warn other girls.
