How Long Does Oxycodone Stay In Your System For A Urine Test (Top voted first)

I took a 30mg of oxycodone friday and a half oxycodone sat morning. I have a drug test wed. Do u think it will be outta my system by then?

Tell him to forget his ID when he gets to the testing center. They can't test him if he doesn't have ID and they will reschedule him 24-48 hours later. This will give him time to drink a gallon of water each day, and allow himself time to become more clean in hopes that he will be able to pass. I know the test already came, but hopefully this information will be useful to someone else reading this!

Hi Tot,

From what I could gather, Oxycodone can be detected in your urine for up to 3-4 days after your last dose. Keep in mind that because everyone is different, this is only intended to be a rough estimate and should be treated as such.

In my opinion though, I think you should be able to pass the urine test if you're drinking plenty of water each day (since Oxycodone is excreted through the urine).

TAKE vics 10Mil. six per day plus Morphine 240 mils a day. I went out of town 3 plus hours drive one way to see specialist and back same day and did not take enough pain meds with me until I got back home, the drive nearly killed me as my back is so bad to make a long story short I had in my glove box a couple of Oxycodones from my previous Doctor and I took one ten mil. to get me home. Two days later I had a UA from my pain Dr. I just want to make sure that Oxycodone was out of my system. I quit taking them becuase they make me sleeping and the Vicodins and Morphine dont have that reaction on my as bad and each Doctor prescribes what they feel work best. I am worried it might be in my system when the UA was taken. It was only one but when I got home I continued with my regular medication. Will that show up along with my Morphine and my Vicodins?-- Please help worried don't want to loose my Dr. I really like him.

my husband is insisting that I take one of his 30 mg time release oxycontin and another oxycodone 30 for break through pain. I have no insurance and my knee has popped out of alignment and Im in pain. I am currently interviewing and do want to chance taking something that will jeopardize my opportunity.

Actually yes. Oxycodone is water soluable there for we flush it out through our urine. The more you drink the quicker it flushes out.... so your wrong. The drugs that stick to your fat STAY IN YOUR SYSTEM LONGER!!!! Now my question is, i took 2 30 mgs oxy on thurs and 2 30 mgs on friday... i should test clean today correct????

This is my experience so take it with a grain of salt. I am on probation where I am randomly drug tested once a week. I have to call a phone number in the morning and if my color pops up I need to go UA. I smoke oxycodone, from my research smoking oxys is the least effective way to ingest them, i know. I like the taste and the process. I Have had a few close calls. I smoked one pill on a Wednesday night around 9 PM. I had to UA that Friday morning. I was clean in 36 hours. I smoke like 3-5 pills a week. I generally wait for the day that I UA and after I leave the office I know I am safe for the week. Another example last week I was supposed to UA on Tuesday instead of UAing I smoked a pill, blew off my probation officer for two days went in Thursday told him how sorry I was and that since it was finals week for my Community College that I was extremely busy and it wouldn't happen again. I took my UA, again it was clean. I am taking small doses and I am also smoking them which I hear extracts like 12% of the actual drug. So out of a 30 MG pill I am only getting 3.6 MGs if what I have read from other sources is accurate. If testing specifically for oxycodone I know probation offices and I am sure other important UAs are using the 100 NG per ML test. They are extremely sensitive.

I also attempt to flush my system if I know I might only have two days before my next UA. Opiates are water soluble. I drink plenty of water. My apartment has a steam room so I also sit in that a few times and try to sweat as much as possible. I have a fast metabolism. For some of you this might not work I weigh 220 lbs and very low body fat.

Don't take this to heart, what works for me may not work for you. If you are on probation and don't want to risk going to jail don't do drugs. If you are worried about an employment and you are smoking pills, obviously smoking blues is more important than a paycheck.

I am not going to say I am responsible by being able to do drugs in moderation because I'm not. I have risked quite a bit by experimenting and I am grateful that I have been able to piss clean in a two day time period. I am unlucky where my drug tests are random they can be any day of the week. If you are on set days where you know when you need to go pee and you are still being retarded by not stopping that's your prerogative.

Also, I understand wanting a basic idea of how long a drug stays in your system. I don't recommend Googling it a thousand times reading different posts because you are going to stress yourself the hell out. People are going to tell you a thousand different things, you are going to try retarded things to pee clean. The only thing I can suggest is buy a drug test that is identical in quality to the one you are going to be tested with and find out exactly how long it takes your body to flush the toxins out of you system. I was left in the bathroom during one of my UAs with a box full of them and was able to snag a couple and I test myself.

Some people have a lot to lose if they fail a UA. If you are one of those people don't do drugs.

Results!!!!
I had took 60 mg of Oxycodone on Friday at 2 pm , I had a drug test on Monday at 2 pm for drug court very sensitive test , and I passed so I added it up to be exact 72 hours after taking the meds for it to be completely gone out of my system !!!

Morphine and Percocet can stay in your system for as long as 8 to 10 days. Vicodin, Norco, and oxycodone usually leave your system in 1 to 4 days. You need to get your facts straight. For oxycodone take the number of mg, divide by two, and add 4.5. That will give you the number of hours it will be in your system.


Percocet IS oxycodone (with acetaminophen), Vicodin and Norco are the same thing (hydrocodone) just with varying amounts of acetaminophen......so perhaps you should get your facts straight before telling someone else that they need to...js...

From my experience it takes about 72 hrs for oxycodone to be out of my system. I recently passed a 7 and a 9 panel urine test that specifically checks for oxycodone in your system.
Drink about 8 glasses of 16oz water a day, that's all you need and stay off anything and you should be good in about 2-3 days.
