How Long Does Hydrocodone Stay In Your System For A Urine Test (Page 22)

I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long?

Lortab and Vicodin are both hydrocodone. You'll be fine.

Just curious. You made a comment about how someone was a junkie just a legal one. I really hope you aren't talking about me. What makes your pain any worse than anyone else's? What makes you think that I or anyone else is a junkie? There are junkies out there and some will take advantage of pain clinics to get their fix and it is the people like that who cause people like yourself or me to have to go through extensive drug testing and counts. I really hope you find what works best for your pain. But you shouldn't say that people are junkies when you don't know them or their situation and surely don't feel their pain.

I am with you. I take my prescribed norco daily and when tested by my pain Doctor no signs of narcotics are in my system. I got lectured that I was running through my prescription too fast and they suggested putting me on suboxone. Like you, I just said wow!

loratab n vic. r the same exact thing except for the Tylenol that's n them but other then that they both r hydrocodone n will show up the same exact thing only difference is the amount of Tylenol is n each one

lortab and vicodin are the same drug its just a different manufacturer...you are good to go

You are absolutely right. I have back pain and take 4 hydrocodone a day and my Dr gave me a test and it has come out negative the last 2 times. He accused me of selling them but as you know it depends on your body how long things stay in your system.

I know all too well how you feel and I completely agree! I'm so sick of addicts (like my ex husband of 24yrs that I was with since I was 15yo) stealing meds, or finding a doctor to prescribe them when they don't NEED them to survive like we do! Pain has taken so much from me and my life has irrevocably changed because of it. It's because of the addicts we have to jump through hoops to fight for a modicum of a "normal" life! I'm hoping to get some type of device like you have so that I can get off of some of this crap, aka pain meds, that is damaging my body, but as of yet I have no alternative except to take in order to have a semblance of a life. Good luck in your journey :-)

First when you go to test at the doctor, they do not test your levels (how much is in your system). They are simply just checking to see if it's present in your urine. He would have to send it off to a lab to have it tested for levels. I highly doubt he would do that bc he is just checking to may sure the drug is present. Most doctors won't have you arrested anyway, they would simply place a note in your file and not ever prescribe you opiates again.

Addicts? It's not like we plan on being that way. I was addicted to Tramadol, which by law is a non-narcotic pain medicine. It destroyed my life, along with everyone around me. It was a struggle everyday bc I did not want to take them but my body and mind told me I needed them. It was hell every second. I completely understand that our behaviors have made it harder for others but think about this, doctors are here to look out for us, if these meds were so easy to get, there would be more addicts and overdoses. You should have more empathy since you lived and lived an addict. It's not something we are proud of so be careful how you throw that label around.
