I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

So you basically get 180 oxycodones a month. Like my pharmacist said its the docs abd the pharmacies doing this crap not the dea. Good luck tomorrow mac I hope once you explain this to Leonard he will understand and let him know also that people should be able to get their meds at least on day 30 not 31.

Hello Cindy. I am wondering if u could share with me the dr in Arvada u use please?? I just had hip surgery 4 weeks ago from AVN caused by my RA and Lupus:( my rheumatologist is done prescribing and wants to cut my fentanyl without weaning. I'm stressed!!

Just wanted to make sure everyone is aware, the man that has been there for the mail in pharmacy is an ex police officer. He has a police officers attitude and mentality, therefore to him and the place he represents, we are all just a bunch of drug addicts and CPR is a pill mill. I am not saying this, I overheard this being said!

I will but bbq I have a feeling it won't change anything and I just spent $180 on the visit. And no I get kadian 100mg.2 twice a day and 120 30s...... I finally found kadian that works so well but yet I get shut down. Do you think they would do that amount rainbow?

I feel like CPR is slowly going down the tank with all the crackdowns. And especially with a cop running things now, that just sounds like a bad recipe. Soon they'll have no patients. It's still just frustrating to me. But I am trying to stay hopeful for SAS health.

Tammy 2 im nt sure if the new dr im seein now and told mac to go didnt say nothin about dea guidelines I told them how much I use and wat I was on and got and they dnt do contracts 2 sign I said I never failed any UA'S she said we dnt do that we only check the computer 2 see if u go and get from other drs while u are seein them

Mac tanmy 2 um I been followin u to for a lng time now and do u think u wit all this talk from CPR and u can have only so much per day cuz I never hear that from any dr I go 2...do u think its cuz u guys see a diff dr each time u go in cuz from readin your post thars wat om readin u think thats 1 reason u guys are limited wit how much u can get per day? Cuz I always had same dr each visit each refil but when I change dr thats the only time im question bout anything

Mac I only use percocet cuz thats the only I can take that works cuz kaiser tokd me I had 2 try morphine cuz I need a more long term pain med so I ended up in hospital after day 3 cuz I was havin a allergic reaction bad each time I took it the reaction got worse then a few months later we tried methadone and I had a ambulance come take me 2 ER cuz methadone almost killed me and SAS HEALTH said each patient is diff we dnt treat them the same

Ok my pharmacist roommate told me you have exactly two to three weeks before CPR writes on your DEA permanent record. If they think you messed with a script you will be black balled from any narcotics, no matter who writes it will go in data base Mac. You almost have to fight it with them.

MAC I don't take as much as you, just 4 10mg Oxy IR and 2 15mg MS Contin a day. It sounds like I could go to SAS and be ok.

Colorado pain management in Boulder will take you and your scrips their actual pain management clinic ..The small clinic have to go by Dea and are monitor .It's not gonna be like CPR where you ask and get what you want .These clinics are ran by the state they take state money .Fuzzy if your getting all that why would u leave a state doctor will cut you off and put you on one long term a pill a day and 3 break thru .Now if you think this clinic bad I see looking elsewhere but be prepared to be lowered on your meds it's part of the game.Ask rainbow about state Doctor s she was cut two weeks later I was for having pot in my system.

So this pharmacy guy WAS a cop obviously he couldn't handle it so he decided to start a pharmacy because he knew he could tell docs and patients that there are laws that don't really exist except in his made up world and some actually believe it. We have many cop friends and one who is staying with us for a few months right now, this pharmacy guy is mixing a state law about drivers licenses and other non prescription laws and mixing it with the name DEA to scare clinics. He personally told me he only fills for docs HE APPROVES no others. He is an ahole on a power trip. Never do I wish chronic pain on anyone but with him I would make an exception.
