I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

Yes he is since i started seein him in september and i started with vicodin went 2 the highest possible it didnt wk we started wit percocet and went 2 the highest wit tylenol as of this week he changed it 2 only
percocet without tylenol its not workin so he
will change it my next apt.he is a really good
doctor he does what is best 4 u and will

change meds til u find what works with u go see him take all teats
will change iy

Yes I have been doing it for awhile and see her outside of cpr. I am glad they make it mandatory it will do away with the people who just want meds.

Thank you very much for the info. I will keep it all in mind. I just hope someone understands. Pelvic Pain isn't a super "common" thing around where I live now so, I've been stressed to the max to get anyone to listen and understand, mainly men doctors, they always just brush it off. I'm just trying to get things figured out before the move. I'm stressed about finding a good school for my kids, about leaving my family back home, making new friends and thinking about starting over with doctors again has me so full of anxiety. So, thanks for taking the time to respond!

Rainbow flowers is your doctor a kind understanding doctor who is willing to work with pain meds? And Tammy are you doing the PT at cpr? I just did it today. It's 15 extra for 2 sessions and then another 15 for another 2. So it's incredibly cheap and she knows what she's doing.

Please try colorado pain relief in wheatridge they are great and will help with your chronic pelvic pain. I can say that as a fact and they are very compationate. Good luck

On 4896 chambers in denver co dr winkelhorst is excellent they do pain managment reply to me if u want there number

Hi everyone. I will be in the process of moving to the Denver area in a few months with my husband and kids for his job. I have chronic pelvic pain. I'm not currently in a Pain Management Program for the lack of any in my area in Arkansas not taking me in because it's pelvic and not my back, etc. I have been on pain meds. for years from my PCP, gynos, or after surgeries. but, none that even really touch the pain. I've been through many, procedures and surgeries and ended up with a partial hysterectomy about a year and a half ago that didn't help with pain letting up after it was done. It's been a long almost 8 years of trying to find relief, especially when other people abuse it and mess it up for people that need the help. I have 2 young kids and I depend on the meds to help me because, nothing else has. I'm only 28 so, I always get the well, you're so young bit.... it's very stressful! Long story short do any of you know/ think that CPR will help someone with pelvic pain? I have enough history over the past 8 years to show my problems. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I just want to be prepared before the move out here. Thanks!

Take all copies of mri etc. i have same issuse go 2 rocky mountain internal medica on 4896 chambers rd in denver 80239 ask for dr ryan winkelhorst!!!

I am a vet who has taken several rounds in my body. I have had severe arthritis in my back and also a inverted spine. I have suffered with massive pain for over 15+years before finally breaking down and seeing my VA hospital. With multiple tests,xrays,mri's and cat scans,I ended up having multiple surgery on my spine. I was also informed my back is degenerating. I have also found out my pelvic is also arthritic. My point I suppose is dont wait like I did to seek help. There is nothing macho or manly when it comes to pain. I was always taught to work through the pain. Tell my body that now :( Now regards to finding a physician who will prescribe heavy pain medication,it will all depend on their evaluation of the severity of your situation. I have been given the following in the last 5 years. Morphine,baklifin,gabapentin,oxycodone,steroids,hydromorphone,and opana. To tell you the truth,I hate all of them. I hate pills period,but it does seem to relieve the pain. Its a double edge sword for me. I need them but hate them. Since I am a former combat veteran,my medication I receive from the VA pharmacy. I wish I could help all of you but unfortunately, this is for any vets out there who need help. If your situation is determined heavy pain medication,the VA doc will make sure you get what works the best for your pain trust me. Also hopefully,you had an honorable discharge because all your meds are free as long as your monthly income isnt over 8,500.00 per month in which case, I should be working for you :) Good luck all and bless my fellow brothers and sisters who have served.

Yes I would be concerned about that, is he stupid? You need to kick your boyfriends butt. Explain to him that there are definitely watch groups out there that monitor forums. I personally believe that that the GOVERMENT watches all forums. It's no safer to post such emails on craigslist. I am not recommending that. lol Be careful

Janeygirl, I'm so sorry that u tried to help and answer my question and got that kind of a response. I appreciate ur reply and opinion. It's getting to where pharmacies can only have so much oxycodone and I'm trying to figure out a alternative that will work like them. So again thank u.
