Can I take another Ambien 6.25mg dose (after discovering I had 65 minutes of things to do) after I had taken the first one? I have an orange yellowish pill with no imprint on one side and a line on the other to split down the middle. It's an Ambien pill most likely, but I just want to double check. ## In the U.S. all prescription tablets are required to have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency, this if a tablet has no markings, it is most likely an over the counter medications, though there is also a small change that it could be a foreign drug. My doc prescribed 10mg ambien for and 50mg trazadone 1st nite, 1 ambien 110mg. 2nd nite and 1 ambien and 150mg trazadone 3rd nite . I stopped after third nite amd having 3 nites of insomnia . How long will insomnia last? I am going thru perimenopause so doc said I could take up to 150 mg trazadone and 10 mg ambien if needed. thanks. ## There is really no way for us to say how long your insomnia issues may last. It could be caused by the condition you are going through, stopping the medications, a reaction to the medications, some other health problem of a combination of any of these. Is there an over the counter drug that is equal to novel 123? it is for sleeping, insomnia. Need to sleep, have a bad case of insomnia. Doc wants a sleep study but 1st visit is a no drug sleep test and can't function in daylight hours. ## I took Ambien then switched to Ambien CR 12.5 mg for quite a while. My sleeping became horrible. Why is it that I take a 10mg ambient, fall right asleep for about 2 hours then get up on and off throughout the night? ## Hello, Fran! How are you? For some people, the regular release formulation of this medication only helps them to fall asleep, but not stay asleep. However, there is a time released formulation called Ambien CR that is intended to help with that issue, so you may want ask your doctor about trying it. Are you depressed and having problems? Nothing and no one is worth taking your life. Please, talk with your doctor about what's going on in your life and how you feel. Anyone know a doctor that will prescribe ambien to a new patient without going through all the nonsense? Can ambien and bractim cause a false pos test on a regular drug screen ## I was given a 12 panel drug test and I tested positive for Benzos...I currently take Ambien CR and oxycodone 10 mg. I suffer from severe fibromyalgia for years now. It is documented and has been acknowledged by other Drs. I have recently relocated to Youngstown Ohio. I recently visited a doctor to become a patient for my pain and other unrelated issues- high blood pressure, etc. The doctor pretty much asked me to leave the office and refused to even consider treating my other nonpain issues AND told me that no other Dr. would bother to see me either. My only recourse for ANY medical treatment would be to visit a hospital-apparently here I am untouchable. I cannot begin to believe that this is the norm here. Hi. I'm kinda new here but I have a few questions. I just got a box of NITREST 10, (zolpidem/ambien) which apparently are manufactured in India, and I just wanted to know. Do they have the same effects as the zolpidem does here in the USA? Or is it different? Are they weaker? Or are they stronger? Hi all, ive been taking ambien for 2+ years pretty regularly (10mg, sometimes 20), and klonopin pretty regularly for 1.5 years (lower dose). sometimes, i have even had to combine the two to get to sleep. i stopped cold turkey about 10 days ago, and am having a really rough time. sleep is getting a little better each night, but not much. for a few days, i felt like a cloud was lifted and felt amazing. now, im feeling pretty depressed. how long should i expect this to last? ## It could take a month, or more, until your body completely adjusts to no longer having the medication. Even if you don't abuse a medication and only take it as prescribed, your body still becomes used to having it and can develop dependence on that substance. I asked my daughter what the pills were and she said they were her pain pills. I have been taking ambien or zolpidem for years. This time I was given mylan. Is this the same thing? ## Mylan is the name of a drug manufacturer, not a medication. Can you please post back with the markings on the medication in question? having trouble falling asleep.....for years, AMBIEN 10mg is the only thing that allows me to get a good nights rest. and be able go to work and do a good job. which helps me to provide a nice life for my family and myself. The docs try to get me to do the sleep tests etc.I don't need that. My husband would take my bottle away every time so I wouldn't go over board on taking them. Well last time he left the bottle, and I took it like I always do and when I woke up, I had 1 or 2 more gone but don't remember taking them at all. Please let me know if you have any advice.
