Ok, I don't care what people say, pharmacy or manufacturer, the yellow norcos are stronger and work different. It is getting extremely more and more difficult to find the yellow norcos. From what I can tell, the major pharmacy's, ie: WalMart, cvs, Walgreens, target, etc, all have either the plain white ones, it the white ones with reddish/pinkish dots on them, and the smaller mom and pop(good neighborhood pharmacy's) have the yellow. Last month I filled mine at target, got the white oblong norcos (10/325). Today, I filled mine at a small good neighborhood pharmacy in Ontario, California, name available upon request, and I got the yellow Watson Norco. Again, huge difference. Is there anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area (200 mile radius) where I could get Yellow Norco 10/325, produced by Watson? I was told by Watson customer service that the yellow are no longer made, and that there is absolutely no difference. After reading comments on different medical web sites, it seems that many are having a miserable time of it, and several mentioned Walgreen's as having the yellow tablets. For years I have gotten the yellow Norco 10's for chronic back pain. They helped so much and made my day to day activitys such as work so much easier, but for the past few months I have gotten the white ones with the M367 they helped very little not like the yellow Norcos. The past 2 months I have gotten the white watson 853 and these are just awful! They dont help with pain at all and have made me feel sad at times (weird I know) Honestly they should be a sleeping pill because they make me sooooo sleepy!!! I've found it difficult to get this across because the line being towed by pharmasists and drug companies is a disciplined one.. You might get an honest answer from an independently owned pharmacy pharmasist.. But the truth is there are in many cases huge differences in generics and brands.. Ask yourself why a brand is $150 to the gen. $4.00..?? What confuses me is why isn't the public at large more sure of this crooked racket.. I've got nerve damage and have been on Norco for years. I get a script every month for Norco 10/325, and the pharmacy had the Watson yellows. Then around May or so the pharmacy had a different labs' Norco. They said that all the Watson yellows had to be taken off the market. The next month they had Watson again, only they were white. I don't care what color, but today i happen to ask the question into the cyber space and see all these answers, and they are the same as the pharmacy told me give o rtake a rumor. I live in Whittier CA and have been on Norco's since 2008. I have always had the yellow by qualitest and now they have vanished. CVS quit carrying them and went with a white oblong by Milkroft (or something like that) and they gave me the worst migraine!! Walgreens carries white Watson. is there a pharmacy in grandisland Nebraska that carries yellow Norco 10/325 ## I'm from g.i. been living in Lincoln the last 3 years. I have an upcoming surgery and Hastings next week and I've previously been on methadone which is a nightmare I'm still on the low dose of methadone so they're really going to have to adjust the pain meds for my surgery. I am concerned I recieved some norcos from a mom and pop pharmacy. they were yellow but a brighter yellow than usual. I had a few left that I got from a cvs and they were a lighter yellow enough to see the difference with the eye .but when I split. Them both in half the inside are the same yellow with the crystals .. Have anyone else seen a brighter yellow v/3601 norco I don't knw if this pharmacy giving fake pills?? Hi, i get the yellow norco pill with a cursive v and 3601 on the back. Is there a better brand? ## Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc. manufactures the pill V 3601. Watson Pharmaceuticals also manufactures this drug. More specifically "Watson 358" is the same dosage as the pill you are describing. And as far as I know, the brand name Watson is among the most popular. But based on this information maybe you can ask your pharmacy/doctor for the Watson brand (Watson 358) and see if you feel a difference in effectiveness. Hope this helps!
