I've been on 2 mg xanax for over 8 years. Now my doctor is a suboxone doctor and released me after 8 yrs. Ive never abused this drug and am getting sick from not having it. I need a new doctor in the Pittsburgh area to help me. ## Can anyone recommend a Pittsburgh Pa doctor that will write for ambien for severe insomnia and anxiety? Im getting suboxone from one dr. And xanax from my pcp. Well sub dr. Doesn't allow it. Ive suffered with anxiety and panic attacks for 30yrs. ## Most doctors that treat with Suboxone are not going to allow it, since Xanax is very commonly abused and can be habit forming. And a doctor that treats with Suboxone can't prescribed Xanax, under the new regulations that were put in place last year. You'd actually need to see another specialist, most likely a Psychiatrist. These medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, irritability and headache. I live in the Lehigh Valley in Pa. My Doctor retired and the only doctor who is available is charging $100 per visit. He sees people from his home. He is going to raise the price to $125 and I have no choice, My insurance is Blue Cross and no sub doctor will take it if anyone knows a doctor please let me know {edited for privacy}.
