Is Norco 10-325 as strong as Vicoden 10-660 for pain? ## The only difference is the Norco has 325 mgs Tylenol and the Vicodin 660 mgs. They both have the same amount of hydrocodone, 10 mgs. ## @Shep, BL is correct about the amount of Tylenol (Acetaminophen) in each medication. Therefore, the Vicodin would be stronger than the Norco. If your pain isn't severe, I personally recommend taking the Norco due to the fact that it contains less Tylenol (Acetaminophen). The more Acetaminophen, the harder it will be on your liver and other organs. Please post back if you have any questions! ## sorry but you can no longer get 660 in the usa

I have a friend who has been taking anywhere from 4-6 Norco 10 325mg a day at times she can't sleep due to her pain that gets so excruciating. She takes10-12 in 24hr. for chronic pain, an has been taking them for the last 10yrs. Today I watched her take 7 of them at once, she was in severe pain. Should I be concerned that she may have over dosed herself? Or will she be fine if I go home for the night? ## That is far too many for her to be taking, at once. It is very dangerous to exceed over 1.000mgs of Acetaminophen in any 8 hour period, and no one should take more than 3,000mgs in any 24 hour period, according to FDA directives. Taking too much, at once, could result in liver damage, liver failure, and acetaminophen toxicity, that requires medical treatment. How is your friend doin...

My doctor gave me the Belbuca to replace the norcos. Which one is better/stronger: Belbuca 150mg strip or norco 10-325? ## Hi Connie, Because Belbuca (Buprenorphine) and Norco are two different meds, there's no accurate way to compare their efficacy without having already taken both medications yourself to know how your body reacts/responds to each one. Some people say that they get efficient pain relief from Buprenorphine, while others suggest that it does nothing for their pain. There are also many variables to consider, such as the inactive ingredients that may affect bioavailability (or how well the tablet is absorbed and metabolized). Some of these pills have tons of binders/fillers and others have very little. Different manufacturers also use better or worse quality ingredient...

what is the difference between Norco 10 325mg Vs Loratab 500mg.? ## They both are different name brands for a combination medication that contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, but the dosages can be different. You didn't mention the dose of Hydrocodone in the Lortab, but the 325 and 500 would refer to the milligrams of Acetaminophen that are in them, it helps the narcotic to work better. I have been taking 15 mgs of oxycodone 5 times a day for 4 yrs, but they stopped working. Then I was taking dilaudid with 15 mg oxycodone. Still no help. Now I am taking Embeda 30-1.2 twice daily and Norco 10-325 4 times a day. Still in pain. What should I do? ## The next step is most likely Fentanyl, it is the most opiate available, it is in a patch form that is usually effective for 48 to 72 hours. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. It is something you can discuss with your doctor, anyway, to see if it is a viable option for you. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I use to be on the fentanyl patch. Hi, my name is Chris I am raking Norco 10/325mg, baclofen 20mg, and gabapentin 600mg all which I take 4× a day. Now my doctor put me on soma 3× a day in place of the baclofen. My question is can I take soma with the gabapentin600mg and Norco 10/325mg. I'm taking them due to a car accident which left me a quadriplegic C5 incomplete SCI. My muscle spasms are uncontrollable I've broken ribs and had other injuries due to them. ## I take Gabapentin and Soma as well. I don't take the 3rd med you mentioned. I have not found any adverse side effects with the combination of Gabapentin and Soma. I would definitely determine how the soma affects you before driving or working. Normally, if I have to drive somewhere, I take the Soma after I arrive or 10 minutes before I arrive....

PHOTO OF NORCO10-325MG TAB ## Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. That said, since there are also generics on the market, I cannot possibly post pictures of all of the available tablets with this dosage, there are many different companies that make it and each must have a unique imprint to enable its identification. Differences In these two meds ## Hello, Shellie! How are you? Originally, the difference between these brands was the dosage, however, due to the changes which have been made to the amount of Acetaminophen they can use in them, that is no longer true. It is really best to just consider them all to be the same, they contain varying doses of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, though there are rare cases where the Acetaminophen may be lower. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. What numbers would I need to look up for Norco 5 mgs? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? I'm sorry, but there are far too many on the market for me to be able to list all the descriptions and markings for you, since Norco is available as both a brand name and generics. The tablet you mentioned in your subject like is manufactured by Physician Partner and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen. How many tylenol 3s equal a 10/325mg norco? ## Hello, Yoyo! How are you? Codeine is actually a very weak opiate, so it would take 66.67mgs of it to equal each 10mg Hydrocodone. But, you can't double up, without your doctor's permission, due to the Acetaminophen in them. Taking too much of it in any 24 hour period could result in fatal toxicity, liver damage or liver failure. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Why would a doctor switch a person that's been on Hydrocodone-Apap 7.5/325mg to Tylenol 3?

Why is it small and yellow, I was taking the lortab blue pill ## The color and size don't actually mean anything, the company may just manufacture their pills differently, so they use less fillers, than other manufacturers. What are the markings on the tablet in question? The name brand Norco that is a yellow tablet in the 10/325mg dosage is oval and has the marking NORCO 539 on one side of the tablet. There is also a generic, that is a yellow, oval with the marking WATSON 853. Another yellow, oval one with the marking 3601 on one side and a V on the other side. Do any of these match the tablet you have? If not, please post back with markings and I will gladly check it for you.
