Mylan alprazolam .5 mg gives me a headache. I did not have this problem with another brand. What fillers are used? I.e. Sodium laurel sulfate or aspartame? So if a medicine says Mylan on it, that simply means that they are the manufacturer, and it is not the name of the med. Usually it would say Mylan and then also have some numbers on it. Qualitest are just as good as Sandoz and Mylan doesn't come close....That being said, Greenstone are better but my second choice is definitely the 2089V's.... ## It seems like most people here on the site are preferring similar brands to what you mentioned. I'm going to get my script soon, ive been taking the Actavis brand (Walgreens) and I asked if my next refill it could be the Greenstone g3722. My dosage I'd 2mg. I has the Mylan xr but would say the ACTAVIS is better. Should I stick to Actavis or go for Greenstone? how can you check to see if the pills are real or fake(besides looking at them) ## ## If they are the name brand, from the U.S., then twe's post should be helpful. There are, however, also many generics on the market and many available from foreign countries, as well. The legal, U.S. generics are required by law to have some type of imprint on the tablet, to enable their identification. If the tablets you are questioning are from the U.S. and have an imprint, then if you post back with it, I can easily look it up for you to see if it contains Alprazolam. Just as an example, a round blue pill, with the marking of MYLAN A1 on one side contains 1mg of Alprazolam. A blue oval tablet, with the marking of G 3721 on one side also contains 1mg.
