What happens when you take too many? ## Hello, Star67ui! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 600mgs of Ibuprofen. The FDA classifies this medication as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding. Taking too many may result in stomach damage, stomach ulceration, liver damage and/or liver failure, which may be fatal. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon I too had asked about these 465's and you didn't reply. I took one of these on Sunday morning for a headache in the middle of the night with no food and limited water and since then my entire abdomen hurts. I have none of the serious warning...

It is Ibuprofen 600 mg. I just got a prescription for it, My wisdom teeth were taken out. They are Pointless if you ask me, They don't help allot with the pain... but they do help with swelling i guess.. ## Well, what you have to understand is that Ibuprofen is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it is not a narcotic, so while it helps with pain, its effects are limited. This is the same medication that is found in a lower dose, over the counter in Advil and Motrin. What is a white round pill imprinted with "0115 4652"? ## I think the pill is a form of Donnatal. I found an old prescription bottle under my dresser from 1988. Pills are round, white, and blank on one side with 0115 4652 printed on the other. Looks like the medicine name on the bottle is typed as "Donnatoli.c." When I look that up, Donnatal comes up. My prescription was for cramps - Donnatal is for that (IBS relief, among other things). Hope this helps :)

found pill in my ibruprfen bottle doesnt look like the rest of my medicine ## The tablet with the IP 465 marking contains 600mgs of Ibuprofen. Is that the dosage you're taking? If so, it is likely that your pharmacy was a little short of tablets from one manufacturer to fill your entire prescription, so they had to use one, or more from another manufacturer. If you have high blood pressure or a cardiac condition, then you may not be able to take Ibuprofen. NSAIDs can sometimes cause blood pressure elevations and fluid retention. What has your doctor advised you to take? Have you tried just taking Acetaminophen? That's usually safe to take, unless your doctor says otherwise.

I've actually found a couple that are close, but none have 266 on them, they're all numbers like 466, 465, 205 and etc. Do you have a friend that could look at it? I have had chronic pain throughout my body for years that may or may not be associated with fibromyalgia and/or arthritis. Regular 200mg OCT ibuprofen doesn't work, even when up to 1000mg is taken at once. I quite literally found a small bottle of IP465 ibuprofen, and after researching what the pill was, decided out of sheer desperation to see if it would help. It doesn't make the pain go away, but does help some...oddly enough, more than the OTC ibuprofen....and that doesn't make sense. Why would a 600mg pill work better than 5/200mg pills would? Is the IP465 time released? ## Not, it is also a regular release formulation. IS IT 600MG.? ## Did you mean IP 466? That is the closest marking I can find. If that's the tablet in question, it contains 800mgs of Ibuprofen, a tablet with that marking of IP 465 contains 600mgs of Ibuprofen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory.
