I was perscribed perocet7.50apap on the 3rd of the month and have not seen this color of perocet 7.50apap or have I seen this color it looks beige with G on it and 226 on the bottle it has me scared cause like I said never seen this color or numbers on a perocet before.It is suppose to be for break through painmeds but since I have started taking it I sweat so much and have the chills to where I have to get up and change my clothes cause they arw so wet.Scared please if anyone has been perscribed this meds tell me. ## Hello, Katie! Hydroxyzine, however, is an antihistamine that has some sedative like properties. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. are Lortabs still in use? My pharmicist said they were no longer made. ## The FDA has asked dr to no longer prescribe it with 500 mg acetaminophen but instead to use the mandated reduced 325 mg acetaminophen. The FDA has also asked pharmacists to contact the drs if a rx is written for the 500 mg before filling it. The hydrocodone and acetaminophen (Lortab, Vicodin, Norco) are still made. But, the amount of acetaminophen has been reduced. ## So can you take a Tylenol to get the same results since they lowered it to 325? My husband has a prescription for hydrocodone 5/500. How often can he take it for back pain? Like every 4 hours? Or 6 hours or what? He doesn't use it much and can't remember the frequency. Thank you for any help! ## This is a generic for Vicodin or Lortab, which contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone and the directions are usually to take it every 4 to 6 hours, as needed. Since it has the Acetaminophen in it, there is also usually the caveat in the directions to not exceed 8 of them in any 24 hour period and not to combine it with any other medications containing Acetaminophen. This tablet actually contains 40mgs of Lovastatin, a generic for Mevacor. This is used to help lower cholesterol. Who led you to believe this was Hydrocodone?

is the 10 mg vicodin smaller in size then the 5 mg vicodin ## It depends on the manufacturer, the specific ingredients used and the amounts of them. Some are the same exact size, some aren't. Just wondering if this was a typo..7.5/500? All I can find is 7.5/650 and 750. I know it is generic Vicodin but am worried about the directions saying take 1 or 2 when the previous script was for 5-500 and only was directed as take 1... Is this correct? ## Hi Bayou1966, That is correct; the pill marked M357 is 5-500 mg, while M358 is 7.5-500 mg. They do look similar as they are both from the same manufacturer.

NO EXPIRATION DATE ON FULL BOTTLE. GIVEN TO MY MOTHER FOR CHRONIC PAIN. DOES NOT TAKE AS OFTEN AS IT WAS PRESCRIBED FOR. HOW LONG SHOULD SHE KEEP THIS BEFORE IT HAS LOST IT EFFECTIVENESS. THERE IS NO EXPIRATION DATE ON THE PRESCRIPTION AND THIS CONCERNS ME. ## A pharmacy or hospital always dispenses these with a one year expiration date from the date of the prescription. In addition, these types of medications do not turn dangerous after the expiration date, they simply start to break down and lose effectiveness, so even if it is past the year, they may be less effective, but still safe to use. (Please note, this does not apply to all meds, there are some exceptions that can become dangerous after their expiration!)
