round green pill with 80 on one side and oc on the other side ## This is not made by Ethex, there are simply a distributor for Purdue Pharma, for awhile, it seems they still had a supply of the original Oxycontin, however, once they are out, they will also only be able to provide the new formulation, Oxycontin OP. If you are having problems with the medication, I can only suggest you report it to both Purdue and the FDA at the following numbers: Purdue Pharma number for drug safety/medication issues: 888.726.7535 FDA MedWatch number: 800-332-1088 Have you spoken to your doctor about using an alternative medication?

what dose it look like ## My husband has been prescribed oxycodone 5 mg. and oxycodone 15 mg. 4 times daily. When I took his prescription to be filled yesterday I was told that the government was not letting any of them go out right now (the 5 mg, that is). I got the 15 mg. What's going on? ## I know the generic manufacturer Ethex has issued a voluntary recall due to quality control concerns, however, I haven't heard of anything recalled by the government. It is possible that your pharmacy carried the ones made by Ethex and don't have any in stock right now, since they had to pull them from the shelves. I suggest calling other pharmacies in your area to find out if anyone else has it in stock, since there are other companies that make it. Has anyone else heard anything about...

yellow white has a number on it that says 041 ethex it says to and oxycodone im sure ## Ethex 041 is immediate release Oxycodone 5 mg, manufactured by Ethex Corporation. ## Troy's identification is correct, this is a generic for OxyIR. Since Oxycodone is a narcotic, it can be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Since it works much faster than the regular release or the time released formulation, it is effective for many people at getting their pain under control fast. Are there any other questions? If anyone isn't familiar with it, there are more Oxycodone details available here.

Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I hate when people don't know what they are talking about. First it's oxycontin and they don't make thirty mg. ## Your statement is incorrect in both a...

WHITE AND ORANGE FRONT ETHEX BACK 041 ## the capsule form doesnt help with my pain as well as the tablets. can you explain why ## Interesting, they should work the same ## Yes, Ethex does list this capsule as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone. This is a narcotic opiate that is used to treat severe pain. The FDA warns that is carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Mike what are the makings on the tablet in question? There can be differences from one generic to the other, but they should not be significant. Has anyone else had such an experience?

I have the 5mg roxycodone from caraco pharm and they are giving me horrible hives. Ive been on oxycodone for years and never had this reaction. First time ever taking this manufacturer. Has anybody ever had this ## Hello, Scott! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the hives. The inactive ingredients can be completely different from one generic to another, so it might be one of them that you're allergic to. Have you consulted your doctor about the issue? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I am allergic to the fillers in generic oxycodone from Amide, Mallinkrodt, and Ethex as well as M.S. Contin by Endo. Just having the tablet (or capsule by ...

small yellow one side has 445 and the other side has h13 ## Well, for the h13, you are looking at the pill upside down. That is actually an ETH, the logo for the pharmaceutical company Ethex. That said, ETH 445 is Oxycodone 15mgs, a generic for Roxicodone, which is a regular release formulation of the narcotic. Some of the side effects include: drowsiness, nausea, constipation and dry mouth.

Little white pill on the front the numbers are 446 on the back is HT3 ## Well, your identification is correct, but you are looking at the front of the pill upside down. LOL! The is actually supposed to be an ETH, for the pharmaceutical company Ethex, not an HT3, though it is a common mistake. Anyway, yes, this is Oxycodone 30mgs, a generic for Roxicodone. This is a regular release tablet or the narcotic analgesic. This is a very addictive medication and should never be taken unless approved by your doctor and you are under their continuing supervision. ## I have resently been prescribed 30mg oxycodone. they are little blue pills with a 30 on one side and a inscribed M on the other are these the same as the other blue one's? ## Yes, that is a 30mg.Oxycodone imm. release tablet. What drug companies make oxycodone er and what pharmacies in San Francisco,CA.? ## What drug companies produce oxycodone er; besides Purdue of course? Thanks so very much - Memphis1-13-2011 ## I am sorry, but the controlled release formulation of Oxycodone, which is sold under the trade name Oxycontin is only manufactured by Purdue Pharma, there are no longer any generics available on the market. Even the ones provided by the Ethex Corporation are manufactured by Purdue and carry the same marking, they are just an authorized distributor. As to what pharmacies carry it, in any given area, since I am not in those areas, I don't know. However, calling them will usually not get you the correct answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate custome...

I was just wondering what the difference between Oxycodone and Hydrocodone, it seems to me they both have the same ingredients. Why Oxy or Hydro, what does this mean? ## I AM JUST WONDERING WHAT COLORS AN OXYCODONE [ETHEX041] CAPSULE LOOKS LIKE? ## Ethex 041 Pill Image ## Oxycodone and Hydrocodone No, they are not the same, Hydrocodone is a strong narcotic, but Oxycodone is much stronger, and both work differently for different people. Some people do better and get better results from on or the other. Oxy is also available by itself in tablet or capsule form from 5mgs to 30mgs, Instant Release, and from 10mg to 80mgs in a controlled release form, as well as the forumulations that couple the instant release Oxy with Ibuprofen, Aspirin, or Acetaminophen. Do you currently distribute oxycodone er with 80 on one side and OC on the other? ## this site does not manufacture, sell, nor prescribe any medications, this is an information only website. That said, the original Oxycontin with the OC marking was manufactured by Purdue, not Ethex, they were only a licensed distributor. Additionally, the original formulation with the OC marking is no longer being manufactured. Purdue has discontinued it and is only manufacturing the new formulation with the OP marking. Are there any questions or comments?

are the green 80mg oxycodone with the oc on it (the generics) still being manufactured as I was told there will be no more of them by apotex. Is this true ## The ones that had the OC marking were actually not generics, at all. They were the name brand, manufactured by Purdue, they just licensed some other pharmaceutical companies, like Ethex, as distributors. Once their supply is gone, however, then yes, they will all be replaced with the new product that has the OP marking. The manufacturing of generic Oxycontin was stopped awhile ago, due to the great amounts of them that were being stolen and diverted. With only one company manufacturing them, it is easier to keep track of the supply and whether or not any gets stolen and diverted to the street market. Are there any other comments or...
