Will the m73 pill effect my breast growth? Also will it take away acne? ## Hello, Sissy! How are you? This medication is manufactured by Monarch Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 0.625mgs of esterified estrogens, yes, it can help with the formation of such feminine characteristics and may sometimes be used for HRT, in women undergoing menopause. As to the acne, it may help, but that really depends on what is causing your acne. The FDA lists its typical side effects as including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and irregular bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with?

Does estrogenmtest have testosterone ? ## Hi Shelly, To answer your question, yes, Methyltestosterone (found in estrogen mtest) is in fact a man-made form of testosterone. However, the combination of esterified estrogens + methyltestosterone can be used to treat a variety of symptoms associated with menopause (as a means of hormone replacement therapy). I couldn't personally find any information claiming that it's no longer unavailable. However, I did find out that there was a shortage of Estratest's active ingredients: "Esterified Estrogens" and "Methyl testosterone" - but according to the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, that issue was resolved in 2011. I am a 42 yr old woman and had a complete hysterectomy in October 2008. Within 1 year of my surgery, I began experiencing extreme hair loss. This November, my doctor prescribed EST ESTRN METHTEST .625/1.25 mg (in addition to the ESTRADIOL .5mg that I was already taking) to help reduce the hair loss. I had to change hormone treatments as Estratest was taken off the market. I have been taking estradiol for a year now and was not happy with it. Last week I had to see my doctor for yearly visit and guess what?...Estratest IS back on the market. The same dark green pills as before and I am ecstatic. I have my prescription filled at our local CVS instead of Wal Mart, where I always seemed to get partial script.
