Round Pill (small) imprinted with WPI3332. Supposedly Bupropion XL 300mg but it seems much smaller than it should be. ## I just received a prescription of Bupropion XL, and it looks totally different that what I've received for the same medication and strength in the past (I use Aetna RX by mail). In the past it has been a capsule, and now it is a tablet with the same lettering you describe WPI 3332. Very unusual for there to be such a dramatic change and nothing by way of explanation. I called pharmacy and was told that the pharmacy had started using a different manufacturer for the generic and that more than one manufacturer often manufactures a generic drug once the patent runs out. I would like to slowly begin to stop taking the Bupropion, what is the best way to do that? I take 150 mg 1x daily ## You're on the time released formulation, so you can just cut or divide the pills, since that may cause you to get too much of the medication at once. I've been on on bupropion xl 150 mg for almost 1 year. During this time my depression has gotten worse. I attributed the decline in my mood and inability to cope to things happening in my life. Now I'm wondering if this generic form is the problem. Anyone else having these problems? ## There is also a chance that it may just not be the right medication for you to take. Not all of them work for everyone that tries them and some people become resistant to some fairly fast. Have you talked to your doctor about? You may need to try a different medication.

Headaches.... ## And you are just one of the many, many people in recent months who has complained about this exact same pill. Contrary to what you are told by doctors and pharmacist, generics DO NOT HAVE TO BE EXACTLY like the name brand, there are allowed to be some difference and for some people, even though these differences are considered minor, it is enough to mean that a generic will not work for them as well as the name brand. I have been taking the Bupropion HCL XL 150MG for 5 days but have noticed little effect. It seems to me as if I am in-between how I should feel, I feel a little up, melancholy, calm but at the same time I feel not so motivated, a little placid and could easily sit and do nothing (all though I feel like I should be up doing something, does that make sense?) I've been taking bupropion XL 150 mg once a day now for 6 days now and as the day go on I have a strange feeling in my body kind of like some anxiety by the evening!! I also take 40mg of Fluoxetine daily. I've been taking 20 mg of the fluoxetine for 25 years with no side effects. But this feeling I get from the bupropion is not good. There are quite a few generics out there, but it makes no sense to ask questions about a pill's appearance: name its manufacturer instead and then get your discussions going. ## Actually, the appearance can help determine the manufacturer, since some of them look different, but the markings/imprint must be included in the details. I haven't found any information on the XL versions of Bupropion by Sandoz. Can anyone share their experience with this pill? I just picked it up today. It's a white, round pill with ST 300 imprinted on it. A search on Sandoz's website came up empty. The NDC # is 0781-5529-10. This is the third manufacturer for the XL 300 mg that I've tried. Has anyone tried Bupropion XL 300 by Lupin - a round pill marked L016? Just received these from Walgreen's internet pharmacy and I'm very concerned. I started taking this medication about two years ago, the PAR generic, and everything was great. Then, CVS changed to Cipla and things got bad -- it was only thanks to rxchat that I figured out the problem was caused by the new manufacturer. So, I switched to Walgreens, which had Actavis. My husband is taking bupropion hcl 150 mg medication in the morning along with citalopram 40 mg in the evening for depression. This is only the second day for the bupropion. He is 85 and also on Coumadiin. He is complaining this afternoon of like a stiff neck. Is this a reaction to the bupropion? He intends to stop taking the medication tomorrow morning until he can contact his primary care DR. Should he stop taking both medications citalopram tonight and bupropion tomorrow morning?
