I had phimosis and got it operated. After one week of operation I myself started dressing with Mupirocin 2% ointment. I use the ointment once a day only. Am I using the correct ointment for dressing this kind of wound and how long should I use this ointment for dressing ?

I take 40 mg of methadone daily, have for 2 years. Can I use mupirocin while taking methadone? ## Hello, Lehigh! How are you? Yes, that should be fine, as long as your doctor approves. The FDA classifies Methadone as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can I use mupirocin and triamcinolone to effectively treat a bacterial skin infection ? ## What type of bacterial skin infection? Has it been confirmed by your doctor? Topical ointments are really only going to help with a topical infection, that would be one that's just on the very first layer of skin. Anything deeper than that is going to require a systemic antibiotic to eradicate, which means either taking it orally or by IV.

Has your doctor told you to use it for this? Hi. I was prescribed Bactrim DS 800/160 tablets 2x a day for 10days. I tested negative for mono, strep, and tonsillitis. I do have some boils/abscess and they also gave me ointment for the nose (mupirocin) and body wash (hibiclens). And also (prednisone) was prescribed for my glands swollen. I'm awaiting test results. But my sincere concern is can I take them both together? And I already take kolnopin got anxiety and on the side effects I seen a lot of people said they got nervous, the shakes, couldn't sleep, and other scary symptoms. I'm wondering what I could eat or do so the bactrim won't tear my stomach up? Any info would be greatly appreciate. About two weeks ago I thought I got bitten by mosquito's in the back of my knee but as the days past the bites started to itch like crazy and is now they are the size of a dime, swollen and scabbed over but still itch, I also have noticed that I have tinnier bites in different places on my body. This past Sunday the 7th I started feeling sick in my stomach then on Monday I had diarrhea and noticed rice like partials in my bowels.
