It is usually taken by mouth but is also used as a patch and vaginal ring.[7][12] The general side effects of EE include breast tendernes...

Does Ovral L responsible for high BP. ## Under certain circumstances, the hormones in oral contraceptives may increase the risk of hypertension, especially in women over 35, women who smoke, or those that have been on them for a long period of time. There is no way, however, to say that it may only have been caused by taking them. Your doctor would have to be the one to help you discover a cause, if there is one and find proper treatment. Are there any other questions?

I have been using Nur Isetrate for 8 months and then recently I starting using Ovral for almost two weeks now, I would like to know how long before I'm properly protected by Ovral ## Hello, Mims! How are you? For switching to the Ovral tablets, if you started them while on your period, you would be immediately protected against pregnancy, since they will prevent ovulation this month. However, if you started them at any other time, then you have to take them for one week. Please note that no birth control method, including these, are 100% foolproof. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi. I've got a loop in but some months get an irregular, non-stop bleeding. The nurse gave me famynor, instead of ovral which they normally use to give me, when this happens. I normally just drink it for 2 or three days until the bleeding stop so did the same with this famynor. But now my period has returned after a week. Should I carry on drinking all the white tablets or what am I to do? Should I be worried or see a dr. about this? ## You can never go wrong getting the opinion of a doctor to be sure what's going on. However, irregular bleeding can be a side effect of your loop, as well as the oral contraceptives the nurse has been having you take to help with it, according to NIH reports. To really get it under control, you usually need to finish the tablets for a few months. ...
