It is a gray and white capsule with RDY on the gray end, and 341 on the white end. ## I have taken Amloz/Benazp Caps 10-20 for years. They have always been pink. We switched drug companies and now they are gray and yellow (creme color) with RDY on them . amlodipine/benazepril 5/10 capsule information ## Ever since my husband starting taking this medication he has had insomnia. Dr. says the medicine is not the cause. I tend to disagree. ## It is not a normal side effect of this class of medications, however, medications do affect different people in different ways. Have been taking lotrel 5/20 for high blood pressure for some years now. My pharmacist said i could save a lot of money by switching to amlodipine 5mg and benazepril 20 mg. My husband takes the blue generic version of amlodipine/benazepril. When the pharmacy filled it again they shipped Dr. Reddy's brand of 5/20 amlodipine/benazepril and when he started it he had chest pains and anxiety. It combines the calcium channel blocker Amlodipine with the ACE inhibitor Benazepril to better control hypertension and certain cardiac conditions. The Amlodipine Besylate is just Amlodipine by itself. I normally take 20mg benazepril once per day, but I accidentally took two 20 mg doses. Also, I take irbesartan, amlodipine & hydrochlorothiazide. ## Taking a double dose just once isn't likely to cause any serious issues, according to the FDA, but you may experience more nausea, dizziness, headache, and hypotension than usual.
