Zendol Sr Tramadol Tablets

Has anyone taken Tramadol ZENDOL - SR? I am curious what the affects are suppose to be and the difference between Tramadol HCL 50 mg? Is one more effective than the other? I have taken traditional Tramadol HCL 50 mg once every four hours and it doesn't help much. I was reading up on the Tramadol ZENDOL - SR 100mg and was wondering if I should ask my Dr. for something that may be more effective?

Hi,i also take Tramadol 50 mg.3 times per day.I have osteoarthritis and chronic pain.I see my pain management dr.every 3 months to see if Tramadol is the correct med&dosage;true,it doesn't stop the pain, but then nothing will, but Tramadol makes it more manageable.I also stay active walking daily and do yoga, meditation and biofeedback that also manage the pain to a certain extent. At my last appointment with pain management dr.i had just returned from a long weekend of traveling and hurt everywhere. We discussed a change in med.or an additional med.;my dr. tells me that will all i do personally tp help manage my pain i "earn" some additional pain relief. He gave me a scrip for H-codone/Acetamin,5/325 mg;qty.-30 to help until my next 3 month appointment.I also had recent xrays showing degenterative disc issues in my neck. The key to a successful relationship with your pain management dr.is to help yourself as much as possible with alternative ways to reduce your pain other than meds. Some people just want a pill to take away the pain;it just doesn't work that way.Trust in your dr.,be proactive about your issues and research and be open to try alternatives.Good luck with your pain management.

No, it is the same medication, Zendol is just a foreign brand name for it and the SR shows that it is time released.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

So yes, you may not get much more relief from it.

Is there anything else I can help with?
