It was introduced as an anti-seizure medication and has begun to be used in the treatment of Fibromialgia. The capsule described is the generic 300mg. This drug can cause liver damage and its use must be accompanied by liver function screening. 1800mg daily is the highest dosage most MDs will prescribe due to the possibility of liver damage. This is not a recreational drug and carries serious consequences at doses greater than normal doses and has no psychotropic effect. If you are looking to get high - don't burn down your liver trying to make this one do what it won't do. Please turn it in at your local pharmacy.

Michel is completely wrong. It is used for nerve damage. They are phasing to that because xanax is being banned. Its a million times safer towards your liver. Michel
