White Round Pill With An 627 (Page 2)

I just rec'd 30 of these, but they have NO effect. Tooth/gum pain. Am used to oblong tramadol tablets - which, although weak, have an effect on my pain.

Now we're getting these AN 627s. These are like placebos.

I have been taking Tramadol (AN/627) for 11 years now. I would like to stop but when I try to I can't sleep, get really "wired" feeling, and have serious restless leg problems at night. I am down to 75 mg 2x a day, I split a pill, but I just can't get off them. Ideas, alternatives that are easier to stop, thoughts? Thanks

Good luck. Detoxing takes about 2 weeks, be ready for hell. I've detoxed twice from Tramadol. It sucked. Same effects like yours. You just have to suck it up and get through it. I'm back on 50mg twice a day, keeps my chronic pain at bay but getting off of it - not worth it if I'm going to get back on it 6 months later (chronic pain and comes and goes).

Just work down gradually if you want to get off--stop taking it routinely and if you can't sleep, take one only then, until the restlessness is not so ba.

As someone else said it takes about 2 week and you feel tired and flu-like, but so what? If you were sick with a bad cold you would just have to suck that up, and we all have done that. It;s not so bad if you really want to get off.

I have done it many times because I am not as clear-headed on them and I am a writer. I need to have clarity in my head so I really want to have that. You have to really want to do it.

Is the AN 627 a time release or not? I figure since its a 50 mg. its not but im not sure.

Is it possible to get tramadol on Line? If yes how.? This will really help my sister. She is. Caming out of percocet ....this kinda help her. _

The best generic for Ultram (tramadol) is Mylan.

However, there is no comparison, in my opinion,
between the brand name Ultram, and ANY generic.

Say what you will....but it is more potent.
The FDA +- 20% adds some cogency to what I am saying,

The brand has the same feel as Lortab.

I took Tramadol a few years ago for chronic kidney stone pain. They really did the job without making me spaced-out. I think they were more of an oval than oblong shape, and were white. Now I have some of the AN 627's and they didn't really help. My new refill has yet a different kind, and this pharmacy doesn't put the maker on the bottle. These are white, more oblong than oval, and have N024 on them. Any feedback y'all might have would be appreciated!

Tramdol is popular with the V.A. so I know it well. It does have a strange side effect for me. It works on the fear centers of my brain. It is good for nerve pain but don't go see a scary movie.

listen people, tramadol is an opiod agonist, it is not a real pain killer, nor is it a real opiate. it is a synthetic agonist, not a true opiate. therefore it does not do squat for pain, but it can get you addicted to it, and you will have withdrawl symptoms the same way you would with all opiates. as for generics, they have to be within 3% of the advertized strength on th bottle, so for 100 mg, they have to be within =/- 3 mg tolerance. you would not notice the difference. and for you people who think that you are felling a difference, it is all in your head. tramodol is a pos drug and should not be taken by anybody for anything. it is what doctors give people who have addiction problems with opiates, or they dont really believe you are in pain. and trust me, most of them dont, they see people with pain as seekers, so if you really do have chronic pain, go see a pain management doctor so you can get some help

Tramadol is the F.D.A / D.E.A. equivalent of anything that would really kill the pain , It does naught do anything to moderate to severe pain , whoever they had do their testing didn't know what REAL PAIN is ! Most doctors still don't have a clue .The Government Drug Dealers (the V.A.) had me on 220 mg of morphine 2x a day , I got tired of feeling like a Government supplied JUNKIE ,so I quit , cold turkey & I don't regret doing it . From this point on , IF GOD DIDN'T MAKE IT , I'M NAUGHT GOING TO TAKE IT .

I also do not like the An..round pills..the oblong or ovals seem to work better. It seems you have to take more of thm round pills...I agree.

I have l4 l5 disk degeneration n was given an 627 will this help at all? My left leg n foot are the worst n have been taking ibrofrin which doesnt eveb dull the pain. Hurts to walk stand lay. Im a mom of 2 n i dnt feel like a function parent at all. Thnk you

I completely agree about these bogus AN 627's. I take tramadol as prescribed, one 50 mg tablet twice a day, for degenerated discs in my lower back. The only generic I've ever had were the white round 319's, which were excellent at controlling the 24/7 pain in my back.

About a week ago, I transferred my prescription to CVS and picked it up - I didn't notice the inscription being different, but I *did* notice that after over two hours this pill hadn't touched my pain.

I dosed a second time 8 hours later, and again...nothing.

That's when I noticed the inscription was different - AN 627 and it was made by a different manufacturer (Amneal). All of these comments are completely valid; this may as well be a baby aspirin (the baby aspirin would probably be more effective).
