This is generic subutex, not suboxone, which means that it contains only buprenorphine. Suboxone has naloxone as well to discourage patients from abusing the pill. The exclusive patent rights for the drug expired in Oct. of '09.

I agree Brim with your comment! Ive gotten on this site and posted one statement relating to my personal success experience with getting off vicoden. Hoping to give even one person courage to try because the Suboxone really does work. Im sure maybe my spelling on that was off but sence then ive gotten my emails of new comments posted. I just happen to check it out and it is totally ignorant those that just randomly get on in responce belittling those with enough courage to even try to quit & sharing with everyone. Those posting negative comments are week and need to reflect on self because all the s*** you talk why are YOU on this site? Obviously u with negative responces ARE HIGH. otherwise u would not be saying what you are.

My name is Lucas. I am an addict... trash.. but an addict nonetheless. Subutex and suboxone aren't miracle drugs... they still can be abused... I shot heroin for years after I found roxys. Every one has a story... but switching to methadone, then trying out the "subs" really didn't do s*** for me... I had to wake the f*** up and make a decision. Keep wasting my life, kill myself, or put my ass in treatment. U have to have the will along with the desire to stay clean.... addiction is a disease that kills people every second. I've been clean now for over a year because of narcotic anonymous and putting my will over to a higher power. It was a struggle, I'm not even gonna lie. But the withdrawals and the pain finally stopped... after I was done blaming every body else for my problems, I had to look myself in the mirror and get honest. It wasn't easy but it had to be done... congrats to every one with clean time and even the ppl that have the desire to stay clean...{edited for privacy} is my email... if anyone ever needs any help. I'm more than willing to offer..

Amen! Why would you want to get clean, go to a doctor,and everything else then finally get medication that will keep you clean & help you change the way you live... yet put it up your nose!?!?!??? I'm sorry I'm not trying to be mean I just cannot understand it.. Plus then you're wasting the medicine because it's not getting into your system properly! It feels much better if you just take it like they tell you to... ...... Confused..... :-/ please try to take it as Duract then it really will help you from relapsing :( I just want people to live long happy healthy lives and that is not what is going to make it happen! xoxo

Truly amazing, subutex saved my life. I was shooting black tar for a year, about half g to a gram a day. Went to the beach with my family and took 4 8mg texs with me and by the 4th day I didn't need anything. I was back to normal, I started chasing girls again and actually cared about my music again. All it takes is the resist to cop.

Your obviously not a big user just from the way you word things. I have done pain meds just about anyway you could possibly think of as long as it is absorbed into your system NO MATTER HOW you are going to.feel effects so keep reading the addiction pamplets from the waiting rooms lol

I know this is a 5 year old post but when i read it I was totally amazed of your fight to stay off the drugs, and felt a strong need to reply.... You are incredible and an incredibly strong person.........I currently take subutex and/or suboxone whichever i can find due to a problem with pain meds..... I was doin great even tho i still felt like an addict cause now i have to take them all the time. Then someone started tellin me about adderall etc and now im havin a problem with them. I dont want to be addicted to anything at all anymore and its so frustrating and depressing.... As soon as i realize im almost out of them i start panicking. Mentally im a total wreck. Its killin me with money thats for sure.........I wish i had the kind of will power and strength you have to fight this also........well CONGRATS TO YOU! YOU ARE AN AMAZING PERSON and even tho I dont know you I still wanna say and feel the need to say" IM PROUD OF YOU! BEST OF LUCK TO YOU MOVIN FORWARD IN LIFE!" You should DEFINITLY BE PROUD OF YOURSELF!
