Using Xarelto

i have just been put on xarelto and felt really unwell after the first 2 days.been on it 2 weeks feel like my head is in a vice and have no energy at all . i am 60 yoa and feel 90.gonna take my chances with theAF and change lifestyle

Many people have complained about similar side effects. However, there are other medications available to treat your condition, so you should speak to your doctor about trying an alternative.

Has anyone else had a bad experience with Xarelto?

I have been on 15mg Xarelto for 6 years now. I am72 years old. I have in the last year developed anxiety which pushes my blood pressure way up and forces me to take lexomotil which drops the pressure down to normal within an hour. This happens 3 or 4 times a month and leaves me washed out. I am pretty sure Xarelto is to blame here and I have also gone through a year of Rheumatoid arthritis in 2019 with symptoms which suddenly stopped and which I also blame Xarelto for. Nobody can tell me for sure but I very much want to get off this medication on to aspirin to see if I can get my life back.
