Tramadol Beginning Withdrawal??? Or The Start Of Flu? (Top voted first)

Updated

I broke my seismoid bone in my foot Saturday day bprescribed that will have to heal on its own. Dr gave me Tramadol hcl 50mg #30. To take every four hours. I wore a support/walking boot until work on Friday and Saturday this past week. Due to safety I was unable to wear it to work waiting tables for 5 and 7 hours shifts. Both my feet were very sore after. I think bc my good foot compensated for the bad. I just ran out yesterday and only took as prescribed. I did get a refill tonight after trying tylenol and motrin with no relief. I wasn't concerned until I read some posts about it having withdrawal affects. I did start having light nausea and body aches begin last night and have worsened some today. I assumed I might be getting the flu since my three year old has been battling pretty good cold symptoms this last week. Question is if I have taken this med long enough to develop or have already, withdrawal. In the past week taking normally not more, or could if I continue a few more days???? I've never broken a bone so idk how long it'll take to heal or ever abused prescription drugs so don't know about withdrawing. Thank you.

Yes, taking it for such a short period of time isn't likely to cause severe withdrawal symptoms.

But, Dawn, how are you doing? Did it turn out to be the flu or something else?
