Subutex Middle Tennessee

Hey guys so I have Hep C and cannot find a doc in my area to prescribe me subutex unless you're prego or breast feeding which neither applies. I have been clean from the needle for almost 3 years now due to subutex. When I can't find subutex i'll at last resort take suboxone but it gives me the absolute worst migraine and as soon as I stick it in my mouth I throw up. So it's basically pointless for me to spend my money on it. I know of a few people that say docs in harriman, Knoxville or MT Juliet Tennessee will prescribe subutex to hep c patients because suboxone is not good for someone with hep c. Please help. Any advice? Any doctors that anyone with hep c have used that knows the doc will prescribe subutex? No I do not abuse them, I take them as prescribed. I don't have insurance so I would be paying out of pocket and can't at the moment get treatment for my hep til I get insured. Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem with Suboxone, it's a adverse reaction. Which by the new law, you can be switched to Subutex. I had to be on Suboxone for 8 wks before they could switch me back. It's a long road but don't give up.

Hello Im also from tn and live in Knoxville and I also got hep c and been on suboxone for years and I also wanna switch to subutex. But a Dr has told me to never call a Dr office asking if they proscribe subutex because they will tell you no and its better to make an appointment and just talk to them about your situation and they will prescribe u subutex. I got an app tomorrow morning with a new Dr and Im gonna talk to him about prescribing me subutex. Ill let you know how it goes and hopefully ill get it.
