Perscribed To Balance Hormones
Updatedmy body doesn't produce estrogen, resulting in ovarian failure at a young age. i now have to take estrogen (birth control) daily for the rest of my life. i recently went to my doctor and he was concerned that i still have acne, ran a bunch of blood tests, and perscribed me dexamethasone. he said one of my hormone levels is high and this drug should balance it. i've been reading about it and i don't see a connection, only pretty disturbing side effects. i realize i am in an extremely rare situation, but does anyone know anything about this drug that may help me? has anyone had any experience with it? i don't feel comfortable taking it just yet.
