Has anyone seen any scientific studies showing that METATROL is effective in suppressing cancer cells
Here is a link to a report published in the British Journal of cancer. August 4, 2003.

Yes, there are over 100 published studies supporting it. They can be found under various names related to the evolution of the product- FWGE, Fermented Wheat Germ Extract, Ave, Avemar, Metatrol and Metatrol Pro. Each evolution has produced a stronger product. The Original Avemar coming out of Europe is a foul tasting large amount of powder and not desirable in my opinion. The newer Metatrol is made in the U.S. and is in convenient capsule form.
Most studies I've found, including the one posted by snapshot say it may carry a supportive role in treating colorectal cancer, but not other types, and it is not reliable at treating it by itself. Otherwise, it would be FDA approved, and not just listed as a supplement. They also warn that it may cause diarrhea as a side effect.
Does anyone have experiencing taking it?
