I'm having a hard time finding a doc in kc mo that takes medicaid for oxycodone.
Ask your PCP would be able to prescribe your meds and have greater flexibility if you were to be on Palliative Care. I think it’s going to become the wave of the future for persons with chronic pain. If he says yes then I’d ask him to put you on Palliative Care and see what he will prescribe you. If he says u don’t qualify them remind him you do. It is exactly made for persons like us. Make sure u bring up the difference between Palliative Care and hospice.
I need help!!. I live in Chicago and I've run out of my Tramadol and Norco 10/325. I'm unable to get a refill until muddle of November. What can I take to hold me over. I can't take ibuprofen because of my kidneys. Pls help.

U could try holistic...some people use essential oils...if u combine certain oils I've heard it can help other than that I don't know...as long as u don't have a pill count or ua u might have to just fight it out or go to ER...Hope you get through it

What is your Dr's name and is she taking Medicaid? Do you have to have a referral? I'm in severe pain from a wreck that messed my back up for life. Now I need to find a Dr close to Nevada/Missouri who is taking new patients & will write prescriptions without having to have a referral.
Re: Drakee (# 125)
Honest to God, get yourself some kratom powder. And Red vein will help. I was on 300 mg of oxycodone a day. I wasn't "fine" but kratom powder took away 75% of the withdrawals. It helped with pain too. Honestly, it's the greatest all natural herbal supplement you can get. It's legal in most states. For immediate relief I know a lot of "smoke shops" sell it. It's more expensive that way. I order powder on the internet from a few reputable sources. Gaia botanicals seems to give the best value for the money. If you want more information Google the kratom bible. It gives you a lot of information from dosages to what strain helps best for your condition. I know this post is a couple months old, but I hope it finds you. Eventually 90% of chronic pain patients for back, neck pain are going to lose opiates as a tool. Not fair....not right. But people need to be prepared with something to help. Withdrawals from opiates ended up being worse that than the pain. If you try it and it helps, please sign petitions to keep it legal. The DEA is colluding with big pharma to ban it. They can't patent a plant, ergo they can't make any money on it. Regardless, if you're in a bind give it a try. Best of luck.
