I have been suffering from recurrent uti since 1992 and have stopped taking antibiotics 3 years ago when I started taking bignay herbal tea. It has been effective in treating my uti but now,,it seems that it is no longer working coz I have been drinking bignay tea for more than 2 weeks and the pain is still there. I'm planning to follow your advise in taking sambong force and a supplement called transfer factor trifactor and KBU of 4life... Hope it works.. Thanks

I have a uti at the moment... My friend told me to buy sabong releaf and to take the capsule 3 x a day... I started the medication on tuesday after dinner... so today is my second day... May I know how long I can take sabong releaf?

Sambong, combined with Cranberry Juice (or tablets) and Coconut Water can help prevent UTI's or relieve some of the symptoms of an UTI, but there is no proof that Sambong can cure a UTI. UTI's need to be treated with an antibiotic prescribed by a doctor. Untreated UTI's could become life threatening.

Rose we are on the same situation. I will share my story -- I have recurrent UTI tainted with blood most of the time...I have been suffering from this illness since 1980's but it was frequent only after 2005 when i was dignosed to have diabetes. I am not sure though if that was the cause. I graduated from other antibiotics since they are not effective to treat my UTI anymore. Fearing that I might soon be prescribed by a higher kind of medicine and out of desperation, I tried BIGNAY fruits for one month (in the Philippines it's a local counterpart of the cranberry fruit) I boiled the fruits and enjoyed a cup evening & morning. The pain in peeing was gone in just 2 days and never come back until 3 months again. Unfortunately, the season for BIGNAY fruits is over.

Now, I tried SAMBONG leaves to cure my UTI as this was the advise of my aunt. The taste of boiled fresh SAMBONG was awful but I believe this is one kind of herbal medicine that can cure genuinely because SAMBONG was already a household name when even I was young. I am now 55.

Such an Informative post Alex .

I have had UTI issues for atleast once or twice a year . I normally take a pain killer and an antibiotic course for 2 days . Its does settle the pain , but comes back in a few months . I have decided to follow ur guided regime and hopefully this occurance subsides. I know the unbearable pain and wish no women should ever go through this .. Take care
