Hair Follicle Drug Test And Oxycodone (Page 2)

I am prescribed oxycodone 10mg taken 4 times daily. I take them as directed. I recently took a 5 panel hair follicle test and it came back negative on everything. Does anyone know a reason that this would not show up on a hair test? I did not have my hair colored or bleached in over two years and I did not take anything to try to alter the results. Thanks!

Is there any good products to help cleaning up hydrocodone before hair test. I read several for marijuana but haven't found much for opiates. Needing something that would help.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. I only have 18 years in the hair drug testing field. One time use won't show up.

Thanks to the few who come back and post their results.

Took 5 mg oxy 1 week ago and have hair test on Friday. From what I'm reading I should pass with no problem but I just wish there were more confirmation follow up posts about people passing. Will follow up next week.

Six hydrocodone are not much spread out over 3 months but the problem is most hair test will test down to 200 pg/mg which is a relatively low cutoff level. This on is hard to call. My best guess is that you have a 60 chance of passing a hair test. If they are not testing for the extended opiates then you have nothing to worry about.

Also they only but about 3/4 to 1" of hair since my hair was only that length from hair cut two days prior

I took maybe 6 hydrocodone spread out over 3 month period with last one being around april 1st. They all was 10 mg but never took more than one at I time spread out over 4 months. It's was about 3 weeks from time I took last one to hair test I took last week and not sure if it included hydro but would it show up if hydro was tested?? It's been like 5 days and hadn't heard from anyone yet. I have had two hair cuts in time frame with last hair cut two days before test.

Just went for my hair follicle drug test. Was freaking out but it was only a 5 panel without extended opiates so I know I’m ok. Thanks guys this sight helps a lot.

Since it is for pre-employment my best guess is that it is only the 5 panel since most employers don't want to pay for the more expensive Hair 5 Drug Panel with Extended Opiates. But the only way to know is to try and find out how many panel are included in the test. If they say it is a 5 panel then that won't include the extended opiates. If they say it is a 10 panel it would include the extended opiates.

If they don't test for the extended opiates it won't show up on a Hair 5 Drug Panel test. If they do test for the extended opiates my best guess is that it will show up. It shouldn't matter if you have a prescription.

a hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample of hair, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. You didn't take enough to show up. I wouldn't worry about it.
